BONEMA TECHNOLOGIES PRODUCT FEATURES The following training provides information on the Bonema product features.
Real-time tracking Vehicle tracking relies both on the Global Positioning satellites (GPS) and a cellular system. Bonema tracking system in the vehicle continuously picks up the GPS coordinates every 10 seconds that indicate the real-time location of the vehicle Customers log in to the tracking Web site using their android cell phone or web based platform to see their vehicles on road maps.
Panic Button A Panic button is a small button that will be placed and concealed in your vehicle. Should the occupants of the vehicle be in any type of distress or emergency they can press this button and it will send a distress message to Bonema control room, which Bonema will dispatch a recovery unit to the location of your vehicle. 3 family members can also have their mobile numbers Linked to the Panic system meaning that they will also be notified via sms should the occupants of the vehicle be in distress or should there be an emergency.
Movement alert You can set your Bonema Track unit for Movement Alert. The device will detect any undesired vehicle movement and an notification alert by SMS will be sent to you should your vehicle move.
Geo Fence Geo-fencing (geographic-fencing) is a feature in a software program that uses the global positioning system (GPS) or radio frequency using Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) to define geographical boundaries. A geofence is a virtual barrier Bonema Track incorporates geo-fencing, allowing the vehicle owner to set up triggers when the vehicle enters (or exits) the boundaries defined by the owner. A text message alert is sent to the vehicle owner or 3 family member mobile. Use Fleet management Example When a truck driver breaks from his route, the dispatcher receives an alert.
Listening in function (optional) A microphone is installed in the vehicle This feature allows the vehicle administrator to call the Bonema device which will allow him\her to listen to the occupants in the vehicle.
Main power\temper alert Should the Tracking device be tampered with in any way or should the power supply of the vehicle be cut-off, an alert will be sent via sms to the vehicle administrator/owner
Immobilise Car remotely The car is fitted with a remote immobiliser, and a radio signal from a control room kilometres away will ensure that once the thief switches the engine off, he will not be able to start it again. A coded cell phone signal will tell the tracking unit to block the vehicle s engine management system and prevent the engine being restarted.
Speed alert The vehicle administrator/owner can set the speed limit of which the vehicle should not exceed, should this limit be exceeded an sms alert notification will be sent
History playback History playback is a feature in the software program, that replays when and where the vehicle has been. This feature also shows the speed and movements the driver of the vehicle was travelling at, at any given time.
Odometer function An odometer is an instrument that indicates mileage of the vehicle. The Bonema system allows the administrator to use the odometer reading to see the distance travelled by each driver Should your vehicle need servicing, Bonema devices will inform the User and extract information from the odometer to compile a report of each odometer reading such as oil, fuel etc.
Driver identification This feature allows you to know which driver is using which vehicle. Bonema Technologies driver identification system provides accurate and individual driver information making it easy to manage your fleet. This system provides driver accountability in areas such as speeding and misuse of company vehicles.
Two way communication Drivers can use their in-vehicle devices to quickly create and send inbound messages to dispatchers. Messages are stamped with a date, time and vehicle name, enabling managers to stay updated about job-site arrivals, departures, availability and job details for each driver.
Mileage Report As the vehicle or fleet administrator you are able to see the distance your vehicle as travelled. Mileage reports are downloadable in pdf, excel or word documents. The system also offers digital Log books
Driver Behavior alarm Our systems alert you via sms or email should your vehicle be abused by your drivers. Harsh acceleration, braking and curving are all detected by our systems. This unique feature allows you to monitor your drivers behavior saving you,money on the maintenance of your fleet.
Live Camera feed Live camera feed allows you to actually see your driver, vehicle or the road at any time. You are also able to monitor merchandise in transit
Fuel Sensors Bonema Technologies allows you to monitor you fuel through our fuel sensor system. You get an alert should there be a rapid decrease in your fuel tank. Another great benefit of our fuel sensors system is that it identifies fuel card abuse and informs you on your fuel savings
