3 How does it work? With its many advanced product features, Auto Tracker is specifically designed with your Fleet as its top priority. Auto Tracker is always active as it communicates with our Secure Operating Centre every two to three minutes. In the event of an emergency, the reporting frequency of the device can be increased. Auto Tracker operates with Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology, which means that we can locate your vehicle within an accuracy range of just five meters. Auto Tracker automatically provides an advance warning notification to Tracker s Secure Operating Centre if the vehicle moves with the ignition off or if the power supply to the device is interrupted. Auto Tracker comes with an optional assist button that allows you to request for remote assistance. Tracker Fleet is web-based so you can locate your vehicles online, any time you want, at no additional cost. Auto Tracker provides a report on your vehicle trips, a valuable tool for motor insurance and business mileage claims. 5 Online Portal Each customer will be given an account username and password which is used to log in to our website where they will have access to the interface for positioning enquiry and monitoring. Once logged in you can select which vehicle you would like to enquire about from the list of registered vehicles for that account. Once a Vehicle is selected many functions are available: Details license plate number, group, longitude, latitude, speed, direction, address, battery volume. Tracking Live current position on Google maps History Trace Displaying tracking history between date intervals Speed Limit Setting up the speed limit for the vehicle Region Defend If activated the system will send an alert message whenever the vehicle is driving in or out of the determined region. Alarm Query- Select date intervals and alarm type and all alarms in this period are displayed. Online Analysis Reports exportable in excel format or viewable online. SMS Query Function The device has inbuilt query functions which are accessible via registered numbers to that unit via sms.

6 All the user has to do is send a sms to the units mobile number with one of the following codes for a response. 700 current latitude,longitude,speed, direction, temperature, voltage. 600 The current specific address, temperature, voltage 111 activate anti theft function 112 deactivate anti theft function Anti-theft Function The device will release an alert message for the events of unlawful ACC ignition start and abnormal vehicle movement to the registered mobile phone and our server. Regional-fencing Warning The regional-fencing area is configured through the online website portal. Once the region is determined and the vehicle is driving in/out of the region the device will send a sms to the monitoring mobile phone and to our server. Speeding Alert The speed limit can be set via the online website portal. When a vehicle is travelling above the pre-determined speed the device will send an alert via sms to the registered mobile phone and to our server. Data Uploading The GPS device will upload data to the server every 200meters, this can be changed at the customer s request but this in turn will increase the monthly service charge due to more data transfer. Back-up battery

7 The cmpdc-01 has a backup battery which will last up to 144 hours depending on operational circumstances. This backup battery is useful in the case where the car-battery is disconnected. The cmpdc-02 does not come with the backup battery. Installation Depending on the size of the vehicle installation can be done at our premises or on the client s premises. Installation can take up to 2 hours per vehicle depending on the vehicle. All installation details are recorded, photographed and securely archived.
