Efficient distribution of district heating and cooling LOGSTOR pre-insulated pipe technology

LOGSTOR pre-insulated pipe technology LOGSTOR has 50 years of experience in the development, production and sale of pre-insulated pipes for transporting hot and cold water. This makes the company a unique partner when it comes to the transmission and distribution of energy for district heating and cooling. Our technology is based on a complete system of pre-insulated pipes, joints and fittings. The system is simple to install and guarantees an energy-efficient supply pipeline for at least 30 years. The pipe system can be used both below and above ground for transmission over long distances and for distribution in urban zones. The thoroughly tested technology and our calculation tools provide our customers with the most efficient and profitable pipe systems. Outer casing made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Diffusion barrier made of aluminium foil Polyurethane (PUR) foam insulation for use in temperatures from 60 C to +140 C Copper wires that monitor for leaks Service pipe made of steel, copper, PEX or aluminium/pex With or without diffusion barrier With or without diffusion barrier SteelFlex CuFlex CuFlex, AluFlex AluFlex, PexFlex PexFlex, PexFlex DW 25 20 15 10 5 W 25 20 15 10 5 Comparison of heat loss. Weldable joint systems BandJoint Branch BandJoint Branch BandJoint - is a PE fusion welding machine that fuses the casing joint and casing pipe together to form a single, unbreakable pipe run. It automatically checks each individual fusion weld, registers its location and documents its quality. www.logstor.com/weldmaster EWJoint

Durable joints All LOGSTOR joint systems ensure uniform insulation and a high level of operational reliability throughout the service life of the pipe system. Joints and branches The LOGSTOR pipe system features two different joint and branch technologies, each unique in its field: welding joints and shrinkable joints. Both are developed to deal with the challenges that are conventionally associated with joining individual components together to create a pipe system. At the same time, they reduce the number of pre-insulated components and ensure fast, correct installation at the lowest cost. Our welding joints are fitted with a QR-tag that, together with the LOGSTOR WeldMaster system, makes it possible to track the joints via GPS. Shrinkable joint systems SXJoint SXJoint, bend SXJoint, branch BXJoint LOGSTOR pipe systems can be supplied with a surveillance option involving our GPRS-based surveillance units for example which reports of the condition of the pipe system at all times. www.logstor.com/detect
