9 Installation procedure of Eslon and Fittings Installation Process 1 Cut Mark cutting line for whole circumference and cut at right angle against axis by saw. 5 Apply adhesive Apply Eslon adhesive (No. 73S Blue, No. 75S Blue N, No. 73S, No. 75S) evenly to inner surface of fitting, at the edge face of pipe and outer surface of pipe. 2 Chamfer 3 Wipe off 4 Mark inserting length Do not use PVC cutter, etc. that may cause crack or chap. Conduct light-chamfering for both inner and outer surface on the edge of pipe. In case of rough surface, it would remove adhesive on the socket and cause loose. Remove sand, soil or dust, etc. and water content attached to the inner surface of socket or inserting section of pipe by cloth. * Clean with slight amount of industrial alcohol in case oil is attached to the connecting section. Mark inserting length to the pipe stated below. 6 Insert Please use adhesive No. 73S Blue or No. 75S Blue N for transparent AC Drain fitting. Please apply adhesive not only to inner surface of fitting, outer surface of pipe but also to the edge face of pipe. Apply adhesive for outer surface of pipe Apply adhesive for edge face of pipe Marking for inserting section <> Insert pipe quickly till marked section is covered. <> Insert pipe quickly till the end. 7 Hold (wipe off adhesive / ventilation) Hold pipe and fittings more than seconds. 10 Installation Procedure of AC Drain Flexible Unit Installation Process 1 Air conditioner and horizontal drain plumbing Arrange the distance of plumbing below 700mm between flexible hose attached to air conditioner and horizontal drain plumbing. Also, please arrange the maximum height of AC Drain Flexible Unit less than the maximum height specified by air conditioner manufacturer. Also, the length of horizontal plumbing should not have excess tension (less than 700mm). 4 Fix support of elbow on device side Fix support firmly to dent of elbow on device side (Supporting clasp: 65A for Vinyl SU pipe) Support and Fix Air Conditioner 5Connect socket to pipe side Dent Elbow on device side Supporting clasp: 65A for Vinyl SU pipe Connect supporting clasp to the dent of elbow on device side, and fix flexible hose not to deflect it. Apply Eslon adhesive evenly to socket on pipe side and Drain horizontal plumbing ( A), and insert till the end. 2 Check the position of support Check connecting position of elbow on air conditioner side to decide the position of support. Please make sure to arrange support to it. 3 Connection of Elbow on device side Apply Eslon adhesive (No. 73S Blue, No. 75S Blue N, No. 73S, No. 75S) evenly to elbow on device side and VP connected to the edge of flexible hose. Then, insert till the end. Apply adhesive to outer surface of pipe Apply adhesive to edge face of pipe Indicating mark for insertion Do not drag or bend from elbow too much. Also, do not twist heat insulating flexible pipe. *Apply adhesive to edge face of in case of connecting to socket on pipe side. Wrap by protective tape included in the package before fixing heat insulating flexible pipe by claps. Please do not cause back draft from brought up section. Please do not drag or bend heat insulating flexible pipe too much. Please do not bend heat insulating flexible pipe less than minimum bending radius of 111mm. 9

12 Precautions to use 1.s at the stage of planning This is piping material for drainage of air conditioner. Do not use for pressure application except air conditioner pump up application (below 1mm). Please arrange thermal insulation for the section where water is full such as at the top of pump up section. Water condensation may occurr in that area. It may not happen depends on the condition, but please check it. The applicable area is for indoor only. Do not apply for exterior. Treatment with Fi-Block is required for area where fire proof is required. Steel bar hook (all screw bolt hook) is standard procedure for horizontal plumbing. Straight plumbing should be less than meter. Arrange elbow every meters (more than 2 elbows: Pitch of elbow more than 0.5 meter). 2. at storage Arrange the pitch of support to identical to same size of PVC pipe (VP). Store pipe and fittings inside of a room. Cover by sheet with avoiding to retain heat in case it needs to store outside. Do not use fire in storage room. Fire spark or heat may cause damage to pipe and fittings. Do not store solvent or paint in storage room. Attack by organic solvent, etc. may cause damage. 3. for transportation Whole coverage by corrugate board is required, since AC Drain pipe has foamed layer and soft. Need to be handled more carefully than PVC pipe. Never drag or throw. 4. for installation of and Fittings Use Eslon Adhesive No. 73S Blue, No. 75S Blue N, No. 73S, No. 75S. Use Eslon Adhesive No. 73S Blue or No. 75S Blue N for transparent AC Drain Fitting. Please follow instruction to install Eslon and Fittings on page 8. Please follow the requirements stated below for connection between AC Drain and PVC pipe.the gap at the joint may cause accumulation of water or moisture condensation. ** Make sure to use AC Drain plumbing system with combination of and AC Drain Fittings. ** Make sure to use adapter fitting (refer to page 6) to connect AC Drain Pipe and PVC pipe. Use 1 size larger fitting of PVC pipe for screw type cleaning hole (joint section needs another thermal insulation). 5. for installation of AC Drain Flexible Unit Do not drag or bend from the point of fitting. Do not step on fitting, hose or area where is close to joint. Do not use hose once it has been stepped on even there is no damage visually. Please minimize the twist for plumbing. Do not flush chemical liquid (surface activating agent, organic solvent, acid, alkali, etc) or solid content except drain. Please pay attention not to cause buckling in case supporting material is used. Do not use hose which had buckling or stepped on even there is no visual damage. Please replace to new hose in case of re-arranging plumbing such as renewal of air conditioner. It is not feasible for reuse once installed. Arrange minimum bending radius within 3 times of outer diameter for Drain Pipe. 6. Other cautions Cut and remove the section in case there is crack, dint or deflection. In case pipe and fittings are attacked by creosote, asphalt, antiseptic, waterproof agent or ketone, it may swell and break. Please avoid contact of those materials to pipe and fittings. Do not run liquid that containts solvent, ethanol, chlorine, glycoether or ricinus. It may break pipe and result in leakage of liquid. Please pay attention especially when cleaning inside of air conditioner by chemical solution. Do not step on or hang on pipe. Avoid fire cause near this product that comes from spark by electric welding, torch lamp or gas barner, etc. Follow the instruction from gas equipment manufacturer and association concerning the distance to gas equipment such as gas water heater. The condition may differ by the type of equipment. Thus, please consult the distance with gas business operator or manufacturer. Do not allocate pipes near direct heat such as stove burner. Do not flush chemical content such as solvent, ethanol or chlorine based material. It may break pipe and results in leakage. Please pay attention especially when cleaning the equipment by chemical solution. s In case the volume of adhesive exceeds allowable level, regulation of intoxiation prevention may apply. Detail needs to be checked with local labor standards inspection office. Please pay attention to fire during installation, since organic solvent such as adhesive is used. Please conduct sufficient ventilation when adhesive is used. Remove adhesive immediately in case it contacts to skin. Please see doctor if feel sick or unusual. Some sealing material contains plasticizer (phthalate, DOP, etc.) or organic solvent (xylene, toluene) that may have negative effect on PVC pipe or fitting. Please do not use sealing material that contains those component. Cable that contains plasticizer may have negative effect on pipe or fitting. Please avoid direct contact of those cables to pipe and fittings. Please consut us in case there is some skeptical use but not specified in this.
