AMP Capital Global Distribution & Business Management Program 2017 At AMP, you will be encouraged and rewarded for contributing to great customer experiences. Your ideas will be sought. AMP Capital Global Distribution & Business Management The Global Distribution & Business Management stream offers rotations across a number of divisions within AMP Capital, the International Division, the Australia & New Zealand Division and selected rotations within the Finance & Strategy Division. These divisions are responsible for all global sales, global strategic relationships and joint ventures, business strategy, client relationships, marketing and communications, investment services as well as formulating the design of leading edge products. The main sales channels include: Australian Retail and Corporate; Japan retail and institutional; Australian Institutional; NZ; and International institutional. The business management functions include: Global Marketing & Communications Business strategy Investment Services Client Services Product management and development Combined, the divisions have over 400 staff located across regional cities of Australia & NZ; Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Bahrain and London. What can a graduate expect? Graduates are recruited in to a home division International, Australia & New Zealand or Finance & Strategy. The program offers a four, six month rotations. There are a range of areas within which a Global Distribution & Business Management graduate may rotate: Australian Retail & Corporate Business Australian Institutional Business Business Strategy Marketing & Communications Client Services Investment Services Technical Sales Specialists Global Product Strategic Partnerships & Business Relationships (AMP Capital s Sydney based support teams for our relationships with China Life and Mitsubishi UFJ Trust & Banking)
What qualities do we look for? Graduates from this stream have often studied Commerce, Economics, Marketing & International Studies. AMP welcomes applications from students of all disciplines who can demonstrate their interest and ability. Fluency in an Asian language would be an advantage for the International Division but is not a requirement. AMP Capital s Charter lays out the company s beliefs and values, including Client Responsibility, Active Collaboration and an Enterprise Mindset. We offer our graduates diverse exposure and experience across a range of distribution and business management disciplines. We expect the program to help our graduates identify and hone their areas of expertise and interest, building progressively on their skills with a view to launching their careers within AMP Capital at the end of the rotation.
