Tracer started its operations in October 2009 with an infrastructure consisting of Response vehicles based in Kisumu, Taveta, Mombasa and Nairobi. We use highly effective, yet low cost Deterrents with focus on application verticals and technology horizontals that cater to the requirements of various industries with an added value. We have solutions ranging from highly integrated GPS/GSM/GPRS based Vehicle Tracking Systems, Fleet Management, Asset Tracking, Personal Locators and Fuel Management, which targets a diverse consumer base, from enterprise clients to product end-users. 3) FLEET MANAGEMENT SOLUTION NDOVU SERVICE Tracer in partnership with Pointer Devices provides unique added value services critical to business needs. The devices are an innovative all-in-one GPS-GPRS, equipped by built in quad band GSM/GPRS modem, SIRF III GPS engine and a 3D accelerometer. It is fully certified to meet automotive, radio and safety standards in Europe and North America. The devices offer enhanced functionality and performance for fleet management as well as other advanced Telematics applications such as: Trip Data Reporting includes trigger of event, date and time, location with its validity status, total vehicle distance, momentary speed or maximum speed, vehicle s battery measurement. This unit can maintain up to 9K full time stamped location events when the engine is off. Violations Monitoring includes start and stop driving, time and distance reports, over speeding, harsh braking and violation of geo-zones. Manage Locations units can be programmed with 100 rectangular geo-zones, which can be managed in separate or combined manner. The geo-zones can be configured as forbidden and only enabled zones. Compatible Accessories Fuel sensors can be fitted to vehicles with analog fuel gauge, can be calibrated remotely and supports regulated and unregulated vehicle voltage. Fuel cap protector reduces the possibility of fuel theft by reporting on the fuel cap openings, connected to the unit and sends an alert in case of opening, also serves as a fuel lid lock, supports all fuel cap sizes, prevents access to the cap and magnetic sensor when closed Door sensors detects opening and closing of doors Driver identification Dallas Key coded keys with matching receiver for immobilization and driver recognition. 4) SOFTWARE MODULES AND FUNCTIONALITIES Tracer has partnered with FleetGuide as the software providers to provide various functions of the Pointer devices that allow the Fleet owners to access the system and monitor their fleet. The goal of FleetGuide is to : Unify all fleet information under one application Overview of vehicle status Show exact position of vehicle Show road (history) driven And many more as per below Web based solution allowing you to access the system in any part of the world provided internet access available. Each client is given a login, username and password for unlimited users Real time monitoring providing the following details: Time and date Speed Location Ignition status Fuel Status ( only appears when a fuel sensor is installed) extra cost Geo Fencing ( unlimited ) prevents a vehicle from moving out of a designated area, we will also configure the system to give alerts of Geo fencing in and out, this will enable you to identify how much time a vehicle has spent with that area Reports consisting of the following: Private time defines duration of time driven after business hours Business time defines duration of time driven during official business hours Trip report this will generate report showing start time and end time Counter trip report this will generate a report showing start location, end location, time interval, start distance and end distance Event report this will generate a report of what events occurred such as event time and distance covered Archive reports with this you are able to check the movement of the vehicle up to six months back Fuel reports (only when fuel sensor installed) this will give you details of filling and siphoning points on a graph Stoppage time reports of where the vehicles has stopped
Alert Reports consisting of the following: Speeding alerts if a vehicle exceeds the defined speed an alert will be sent via email Harsh breaking alerts Main battery disconnection alert an alert will be sent when the main battery has been disconnected Panic button alert when a panic button has been pressed an alert will be sent 5) FLEET MANAGEMENT (BASIC) CHUI SERVICE This system provides a very basic solution of fleet management but yet effective in monitoring small fleet of vehicle, tour operators and taxi operators. The service is a web based solution and available on line to clients who are provided with a link, username and password. The client is free to call our 24/7 365 control room to find out the location of their vehicle. 7) PERSONAL LOCATORS DUMA SERVICE This is a small tracker that is developed for personal positioning of individuals and children. The system is available on-line and is web based. This system is widely used by organizations that have staff based outside and would want to monitor the movements of the staff.
