General Information and Structure The Euro BA in International Hospitality Management is a chance and opportunity to make you stand out from the rest. This three-year undergraduate course is managed by the renowned University of Brighton, UK, that specialises in hospitality management. The ANGELL Akademie Freiburg cooperates with other international hospitality schools/partners who provide the opportunities to study and work abroad. As part of the course structure it is essential that you study in three different European countries. During the international programme, a three-month internship (operational) and a six-month trainee position (preferably managerial) are compulsory parts of your studies. Within your semester/s of study at ANGELL Akademie Freiburg you will be taught entirely in English, as well as in all partner institutions. In the second year, you will be studying at Wittenborg University in the Netherlands. The fifth semester of study continues at the University of Brighton where you will attend classes in hospitality management and strategy. You may then decide to return to our campus to complete your sixth semester (Dissertation semester) with us. During your studies, we are building your skills-set to prepare you for the managerial positions that may await you following the successful completion of your degree. In addition, we will assist you in enhancing your personal, intercultural and social competencies for your future career plans. If you would like to continue to broaden your academic horizon, there is the possibility to enrol onto one of our master s courses on our ANGELL campus. Aims of the Course While completing the course, you will improve your language skills, obtain high-quality knowledge and learn about the international hospitality sector. Since you study in three different countries, you will get to know three different cultures and languages. This will enable you in the future to adapt easily to different work environments and you will gain intercultural competencies. This unique package will offer you an attractive possibility to travel and learn. You will not only develop personally but also, simultaneously, be able to match needs of the industry and prospective employers. After the millennium, Wittenborg focused its study programmes on other service sectors such as communication and hospitality. The business school moved its campus from Deventer to Apeldoorn in 2010 where now students from over 50 countries are studying international programmes. The University of Brighton can show decades of experience in career orientated education in the area of service management. It exists since 1858 and is one of the biggest educational institutions in England with approximately 21.000 students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The final year of the award is spent at the University of Brighton, School of Service Management campus in Eastbourne. Students on this award will follow a core management curriculum together with a range of options in which they focus their particular interests and specialisms across the wide range of hospitality management and within the hospitality sector. The Spanish Centro Superior de Hosteleria de Galicia is located in Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain, 30 kilometers away from the Atlantic Ocean.
