4 Concept of Postgraduate Studies 1-year taught programmes start in October until following September pre-sessional Induction Week organized in two teaching semesters Semester 1 from October till January Semester 2 from February till June with spring break around April plus three months for MSc dissertations Programme structure 4 taught modules in each semester mix of compulsory and elective modules plus MSc dissertation Teaching in form of lectures, tutorials and practical labs as well as drop-in hours for general module inquiries Assessment forms include in-class tests, written exams, individual and group courseworks, and oral presentations
