The Crprate Services Branch is structured int six sectins: Financial Services Human Resurces Prperty and Services Infrmatin Systems IT Business Engagement and Slutins Gvernance and Strategic Planning OVERVIEW OF THE FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTION The psitin is lcated in the Financial Services Sectin which is led by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and prvides high quality client fcused financial services t Cmcare. The Financial Services Sectin has apprximately 40 staff and cmprises three teams: Financial Services Team; Central Prcurement Team; and Benefits Prcessing Team. The Financial Services Sectin (FSS) is a critical partner in the delivery f custmer fcused services t Cmcare. Delivery f effective budgeting, csting and pricing f services, prvisin f user friendly and up t date financial infrmatin t the business and maintenance f a streamlined and effective business prcess are the key utcme areas. FSS is als assisting the business in ensuring that Cmcare is using mdern, innvative, effective and efficient accunting and business prcesses t deliver services. Cmcare is highly dependent n a rbust financial management framewrk t meet rganisatinal bjectives. With annual expenditure in excess f $300 millin and utstanding liabilities f apprximately $2.2 billin, Cmcare is cnsidered by the Department f Finance and Deregulatin (DFD) t be a material agency and cnsequently is required t cmply with specific budget develpment and financial reprting requirements. 2

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: As the Systems Administratr FinanceOne yu will be required t ensure that FinanceOne, the financial management infrmatin system (FMIS), effectively supprts Cmcare s financial prcesses n a cntinuus basis. In additin t this, yu will als be invlved in the further develpment f the system as pprtunities are identified. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (DUTY STATEMENT): 1. Ensure that the system is functining crrectly n a daily basis and undertake regular system administratin activities. 2. Investigate and reslve technical issues which arise in the peratin f the system. 3. Re-cnfigure the system where necessary t supprt changes in business prcesses. 4. Prviding help desk supprt fr FinanceOne users and in particular prvide clse supprt t pwer users in the Financial Services Sectin. 5. Liaise with bth the FinanceOne Supprt Desk (external) and the Infrmatin Systems Sectin (internal) t reslve mre cmplex system issues. 6. Cnduct user training in the varius mdules f the system 7. Assist in undertaking prjects which enhance the functinality f the system. 8. Actively develp and maintain wrking relatinships acrss the rganisatin which supprt the effective peratin f FinanceOne. 9. Cmcare s prcesses are likely t take apprximately eight weeks fr shrt listing, interviewing, reference checking and ffers t be made.
