Over the past three years, it has been thrugh an intense perid f change, develping a regular prgramme f cutting-edge theatre and perfrmance and establishing itself as a vibrant destinatin events space in East Lndn. The rle f Marketing & Events Assistant has been created t assist bth the Marketing Manager in the prmtin f the Twn Hall s artistic prgramme and the Events Manager in prviding ur hirers with a first class experience frm initial enquiry stage thrugh t the cmpletin f the hire. This is an ideal rle fr smene wishing t build a career in either arts marketing r in the events industry. Duties & Respnsibilities Events T actively engage in increasing revenue and usage f the Twn Hall thrugh hire f spaces T liaise with hirers, ffering the highest pssible standard f service at all times T ensure that all enquiries are directed thrugh the n-line enquiry frm T ensure that all enquiry frms are fllwed up in a timely manner T carry ut site visits as necessary T prepare and send cntracts fr hire events T prepare and send invices fr all hire events
3 T ensure that all necessary paperwrk is received frm hirer prir t the event including public liability insurance dcument, damages depsit and full payment fr the event as well as risk assessments and event plans where apprpriate. T wrk with the Head f Venue & Operatins/Head f Prductin/Frnt f Huse Manager t ensure that all preparatin is cmpleted t ensure the smth running f the event T reslve issues which may arise frm the event T wrk with the Finance team t ensure that damage depsits are returned r banked as required T wrk with the Head f Prgramme & Prducing/Event Manager with regard t the bking f rehearsal space, ensuring all paperwrk is in place T maintain high standards f custmer service Marketing T play an active rle in the prmtin f a crss artfrm prgramme including theatre, dance, live music, cmedy and cabaret, wrking with the Marketing Manager t ensure campaigns are successfully planned, delivered and mnitred Liaising with visiting cmpanies t ensure their requirements are reflected in print, nline, in s and scial media Supprting the Marketing Manager in updating the Twn Hall s website Create and evaluate regular prmtinal s using MailChimp nline sftware Assisting with the managing and mnitring f STH s scial media channels Develping and maintaining relatinships with ther rganisatins by identifying reciprcal marketing pprtunities Prviding assistance with the management f Spektrix nline bx ffice system, including selling tickets, setting-up shws, creating reprts and amending custmer bkings Assist in the rganisatin and management f press nights and events Assist with writing creative press releases and news stries and manage the circulatin in supprt f the venue s press agency Ensure clear and cnsistent cmmunicatin f the STH brand at all times Create listings, mnitr press cverage and recrd cuttings as apprpriate Assist with the cmmissin, design and/r print prcess f print and advertising materials C-rdinating internal print displays and distributin f flyers/psters Organise lcal and natinal distributin as apprpriate
