RESPONSIBLE TO: DEPARTMENT: Strategic Partnerships Manager Strategic Partnership Team Our Purpose:- The Strategic Partnership Team ensures effective Local Service Board partnerships with local authority departments, sub-groups, partner organisations, stakeholders and the public, to ensure a collaborative approach to achieving Monmouthshire County Council s goals. The Purpose of this Role:- You will contribute towards the delivery of business and administrative support for the Strategic Partnership team. Expectation and Outcomes of this Role:- Working with the Business Support Officer you will be expected to provide effective administrative support to the Strategic Partnership team. You will receive a training plan along with the opportunity to develop your business administration and ICT skills as you work towards NVQ3 in Business Administration. Your responsibilities are to:- Work alongside the Business Support Officer to provide administrative support to the team as required, including: 1. Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations and developing filing systems. 2. Supporting the organisation of meetings as necessary including booking rooms, arranging attendance and circulating paperwork in good time. 3. Assisting in taking and distributing minutes of meetings ensuring actions, recommendations and discussions are recorded. 4. Assisting in developing and maintaining up-to-date web based information relating to the Local Service Board and the Strategic Partnership Team. 5. Undertaking word processing and photocopying. 6. Taking Messages and passing onto the relevant officers. 7. Opening and distributing incoming mail. 8. Demonstrate a commitment to team working. 9. Be flexible in approach, delivery and working hours. 10. Maintain safe working practices for self and others, in accordance with the authority s policy statement on Health and Safety at Work. 11.
