Course Enrolment Guide Bachelor of 2015 Enrolment Instructions: This Course Enrolment Guide 2015 provides you with information on when and where the units available for study in this program(s) will be offered in 2015. 1. Refer to your program map for information on unit availability. 2. Refer to Administration & Enrolment on the ACU website (http://students.acu.edu.au/332297) for information on how to enrol. This page also provides detailed information on managing your studies. 3. Log on to Student Connect and enrol (http://students.acu.edu.au/136953). Requirements to Complete Award For information on the duration of your course, and the requirements to complete your award, please refer to the course rules for your program. Course rules are available in the ACU Handbook on the ACU website (http://www.acu.edu.au/142401). Select the handbook for the year you commenced the course: Select the Faculty which offers the course; Select Courses by Faculty for the correct course rules. Unit descriptions are also available in the current handbook. Bachelor of **Students must enrol in both Semesters 1 and 2 units at the start of the academic year** Requests to Overload The maximum number of units you may enrol in per semester is four (4). Students who wish to undertake additional units must consult with the Course Coordinator or State Head of School to obtain approval. Timetable You can also check the availability of units for the next semester/term by accessing the Timetable on the University s website at http://www.acu.edu.au/136054. Application for Credit/Recognition of Prior Learning^ If a student has undertaken prior university study they may apply for credit for a unit or more of study. A credit application form, (CR form) is available from the student centre or on the web at: http://www.acu.edu.au/154918 Consultation with Academic Staff Academic staff consultation and contact details are provided on page 2 of this guide. E-mail correspondence to academic staff must include: student name, student ID number contact phone number and the nature of the enquiry. Academic staff will respond in a timely manner, however, academic staff will not respond to e-mails from providers other than the allocated ACU student e-mail account as this risks the security of the University server. Students should take special care to note the week pattern of tutorials when they allocate in Tutorial Direct to ensure that they are choosing the correct stream for their course b) Please consult with your Course Coordinator if the following applies to you: You need to repeat a UNCC unit due to a previous fail grade. You are unable to complete a UNCC unit during the standard semester it is offered. You plan to enrol in an advertised international option specific to the Core.
