The future is here By introducing Facility App, many companies will take a small step to begin their journey, for a giant leap, getting ready to implement Enterprise Apps With a Facility App you have a greater chance to eliminate fraud in the canteen and reduce time wasted for your employees standing in line, waiting to be served and pay for their lunch and coffee. The Facility App also offers you to run your facility with less personal to handle payment and cash, as the mobile payment platform and self-service module gives you the possibility to run a fast-track lane and be more efficient. Imagine that you from your smartphone can see the menu and order your food, coffee or catering for your guest and even pay for it in advance. Then proceed directly to the fast-track lane when you receive a notification that your orders are ready to be picked up. Payment can be handled by a monthly reduction in your salary check, supported by an API interface, or direct mobile payment from the credit card selected on your mobile phone, or department account installed with the Facility App. With the Facility App, you can also include modules as Take-Away food, mobile payment from vending machines, private parcel services and payment for the power consumption for charging your employees electric cars. You can also run several types of employees with different contracts, with different pricing and payment methods, encoded in the Facility App and installed beacons on your premises. All this is now possible through the implementation of the Facility App, which will give your business an important step in getting a practical use of Enterprise Apps and be the found ation for a digital corporate culture where self-service, and streamlining of internal business processes, is a natural part of everyday life. 2

The digital workplace of the future How the workplace of the future will take place, or how the perfect workplace will look like, is not an answer we can give, but how to prepare yourself to the future and how you develop the digital workplace of the future, will be part of this solution and the Facility App. We already know that the labor market will change, from the demographical impact we will be struck by, when the landscape shifts and the labor force will change in age and there will be an increased numbers of retirements, from the establish workforce. More demand of self-service solutions from the new labor force. There are many advantages in getting new technology on board and by this, position your company to the digital future, we know will be here tomorrow, with many changes and new demands from the labor market. Module: Parcel Services Many employees choose to have their parcels from private Internet shopping send to the address of their workplace, to get their parcels delivered safely, knowing that there are someone to receive them. With the Parcel Service module, you will get in better control with the cost related to this service, as the employee will have to type in the tracking number they receive, and when the package arrives at the premises, they will be informed by a notification on their smartphone. When the employee enters the pick-up area to get the delivery, the Facility App will be initialized by a beacon and the employee will automatically receive a receipt at the pick-up area, before the package goes into internal distribution. Module: Vending machines Many companies have installed vending machines at their location to fulfill their employee s needs of food and beverage, which either requires that the employee has cash or credit cards at their disposal. The Facility App has an integrated mobile payment solution and by installing a box with an integrated SIM card to access the Internet and a beacon in the vending machine. The vending machine will perform the transaction and refreshment selected by the employee from the Facility App. The amount is charged directly from the employee s credit card, unless the company offers usage from the vending machine, as a monthly deduction of the amount spend, from their salary check. This enables the company to save handling of cash and credit card readers and only use the Facility App to pay for snacks and beverage. This also gives the owner of the vending machine an inventory list in real time, allowing the owner to respond before the machine runs out of stock. Module: In House Coffee Bar Several companies have adapted the coffee culture and have coffee shops installed, where customers and employees can be served from and the quality-conscious coffee drinkers and employee can get their coffee. From the Facility App, the employee will be able to order his coffee from his desk and set the time for pick up at the coffee shop, so the coffee can be ordered to be picked up when you arrive at work. There will be sent a notification to the employee, when the coffee is ready, so the time used to get your coffee is optimized without waiting in line and no coffee is served, without getting paid for. 4

Module: Canteen Solutions for Employees Many company canteens would prefer not to accept cash, as it is expensive to handle and requires personal to receive and the manager has to count the cash every day and have them transported to the bank. Canteen Solution for employees With the Canteen module, the Facility App will automatically be registered when the employee have their smartphone with them in the canteen area, in conjunction with the installed beacons. The beacon will be encoded to wake up the Facility App with the assigned agreement and the employer either has to approve payment or activate the meal voucher before using the canteen. The employee will regularly keep up with his spending, as each purchase is accompanied by a receipt, which is stored on the employee s account information in the Facility App. The canteen module also means that people who are affiliated with the company but not getting salary from the company, as artisans, external consultants and suppliers, can pay for their lunch with mobile payment instead of a deduction in salary, which requires a Smartphone (ios, Android or Win). Food for guests The employees can bring customers and guest to the canteen for lunch and pay for those too. Payment can be made directly to a department number within the company or to the employee s own credit card. Take Away food for employees The canteen can also sell food out-of-the-house via the Facility App. The Facility App does this in the menu created and maintained by the kitchen and priced in the App. The kitchen can set up the numbers of Take Away meals, which can be sold out-of-the-house and the Facility App controls storage and disposals. The employee receives a notification on his mobile phone when the order is packed and ready for pickup, and payment will be sent through and receipt stored in the Take-Away module. Menus can be announced a week in advance so that the employee can see the coming offer of the week. Administration The canteen will have one (or more) ipads configured as management screens. With the ipads the canteen has the opportunity to view and manage today s sale of food vouchers, take-away and employees who are using the canteen facilities with or without subscriptions fees. Shared Canteens are supported If more than one company is housed in the same building and share the same canteen, it can be an advantage for the Facility Management to use the Facility App to facilitate all administration, management, pricing and payment of food, as the Facility App can be set up with different terms. 6

Mobile Payments Payment with cash and credit cards can be a costly affair in handling and maintaining. The Facility App can host a cashless ecosystem for the employees, with the possibility to preorder and pay directly from your mobile phone. By using this process to access food, the employee can skip the line and get more time for lunch and the employer will use less resources in serving the employees. The Facility App will be using the payment solution chosen by the employer in the Facility App. The mobile payment solution require the employer to type in his credit card information in the Facility App or select to be deducted in his monthly salary with the accumulated amount spend at the company facilities on food and beverages. The mobile payment solution are PCI certified and card information and business data is transferred in a safe and reliable way in accordance with the payment card association (PCI) and banking standards. Beacons A beacon is a small electronic device with up to 2 years of battery operation. Bluetooth Low Energy came out of Nokia, an important innovator in mobile wireless technology. It was renamed from Wibree to Bluetooth 4.0 when it was handed over to the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and became and open standard. Beacons work like a lighthouse, broadcasting their position into the air, so navigators can use them as guides. These Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi devices could broadcast other information as well, such as battery power or sensor data from the environment. The beacon can be encoded with a signal to wake up the Facility App on your mobile phone, when it is in range and give you a status on your orders or give you a message like a food voucher or coupon. Beacons are not new and are also called Internet of Things (IOT), which combines the physical world with the digital world, that will mean new business and delivery models in the company s digital strategy. 7
