The course of history is marked by the footprints of individuals who have had an impact on the world around them. World leaders, artists, authors, explorers and many more shaped their communities and all of civilization by the model and action of their lives. These footprints come in many shapes and sizes. The prints are not always those of the world famous and are not restricted to the pages of an encyclopedia or history book. Often times, they are found around the corner at the neighborhood school teaching a class, or down the hall of the workplace affecting individuals around them by their example of caring and understanding. The footprints of Virginia Coleman are deep and wide. They are found in many places; the family, the community, the workplace, and through the lives of countless friends and acquaintances alike. Follow these footprints and you will trace the steps of a truly remarkable woman. Through her example, she taught those around her patient wisdom, strong understanding, and steadfast love.
