Ruth Levine Sussman Family Fund for Breast Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center The Sussman Family Fund for Breast Cancer Research was established by David and Ruth Sussman in 2003 to support the research of Dr. Larry Norton and Dr. Jacqueline Bromberg at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Following Ruth's death in 2005, the Sussman and Levine families have continued to raise money to support the research of Drs. Norton and Bromberg, which focuses on both preventing and effectively treating metastatic breast cancer. The EWGA Albany/Capital Region Chapter is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization. With your support, the money we raise from this event provides financial support to programs which help to find a cure, to provide preventive care, and to ensure women who are inflicted with this terrible disease receive the treatment they need. This year s benefit will include an 18-hole scramble golf tournament, lunch, cocktail party, dinner buffet and silent auction. In addition, our event will offer family members and friends an opportunity to create a tribute for their cherished loved ones and to come together as a community to celebrate those who have survived breast cancer and remember those who lost their battle with breast cancer.
