History Increased expertise and operational efficiencies Chief Operating Officer, Eleanor Davidson was appointed to develop and implement a new operating platform with a focus on innovation, quality, efficiency and customer responsiveness. D1 property management was secured. Our first facility at ANU in Canberra is built with UniLodge @ ANU Davey Lodge opening. The management of UniLodge @ 740 was secured followed by UniLodge College House. UniLodge on Villiers was acquired adjacent to the University of Melbourne. The Adelaide portfolio grew with the addition of East End. The Australian National University chose UniLodge for a fourth time to manage Lena Karmel Lodge. The Canberra portfolio and list of universities was added to by the University of Canberra and their university owned accommodation. Brisbane expanded with the addition of on Gailey in St Lucia. A new model emerges UniLodge on Campus opened in Melbourne in 2004. UniLodge was chosen by the University of UNSW to manage their foundation year accommodation in 2005. The second building for UniLodge Auckland also opened in 2005. The expansion continues UniLodge @ ANU Kinloch Lodged opened, doubling our bed numbers in Canberra. UniLodge D2 opened in 2009, increasing UniLodge s total bed numbers to 6,000. UniLodge @ Metro Adelaide opened first property in Adelaide. UniLodge Community Spirit Program (CSP) was introduced and implemented across all of our properties and has proven to be a major success. Onwards and upwards Ipad was secured from Student Living Australia. UniLodge acquired the entire Student Living Australia (SLA) portfolio, 539 beds over 10 properties. Ipad & SLA collectively increased our portfolio from 430 beds in Adelaide to over 1,100. UniLodge @ UQ St Lucia opened located within the heart of the University of Queensland education precinct. Academie House was secured an extra 90 beds in Canberra. UniLodge Vivida contract was secured in Hawthorn adding 194 beds to the portfolio. The contract for the management of 442 beds at UniLodge @ ANU Warrumbul Lodge was secured. The management of 46 beds was acquired in UniLodge on Riversdale also located in Melbourne s suburb of Hawthorn. UniLodge accommodation options for University of Queensland students is increased with the addition of Manors and Visage within walking distance.
