How to Register to use the Staff Printer Network at any device on the network Monitor Embedded : Login & First Use Touch your Swinburne Staff ID card on the card reader on the Fuji Xerox Device The card reader will beep when it has read your card successfully You can also enter your network username and password if you don t have your card You may be required to enter your network Username and Password if you have never used your card with a Fuji Xerox device before. This will associate your card to your network Username Monitor Embedded : After Logging In You will be presented with the Account Summary screen. You can now select to release print jobs or use the Photocopier COPY, FAX or SCAN features. These can be accessed with the physical buttons on the left or by pressing the Services Home button
Monitor Embedded : Print Release Start by printing from your application to the SwinburneStaff print queue (available campus wide). Print jobs sent to this queue will be available at any Fuji Xerox with Monitor Embedded. Go to the Fuji Xerox Photocopier and login (swipe card). From the Account Summary screen select the Print Release menu, your print jobs will be presented to you in a list (if you have sent any to the queue) Tap each job that you wish to be printed then tap the Print button. All print jobs can be quickly released by tapping the Print button without any jobs selected Use the physical Log In / Out button on the panel when you have finished printing Use the physical Log In / Out button on the panel when you have finished printing Install the Staff Printer on your desktop device to release at any device on the network

Click on Add a Network Printer When to use this Guide? After your computer has been migrated to Windows 7 your new printer drivers will be installed as part of that process, however sometime, you may need to choose another printer. Follow these simple steps. 1. Go to Start > Devices and Printers 4. Select the printer you want from the list. "Staff Printer" To assist you the chose the correct printer, all printer names show the name of the building, floor and location. Choose the printer you want and click Next. 2. You can tick the check box if you want to set this printer as your default printer. Click Finish. 6. Scroll through the list of all printers till you find the one your want. 9. To register and use the new MFD's if you have an Apple Mac device please do the following: 1. Register at your local MFD first - using your proximity card/swipe card follow the instructions. You will need to know your SIM username and password to register at the multifunction device. 2. Install the Print driver for the new MFD's for Apple Mac. Select Applications Select Self Service (if you are not able to select Self Service please contact ITS Service Desk - servicedesk@swin.edu.au - x 5000) Login using SIMS username and password Select Printers Select Staff Printer C4475 T2 Select Install 3. You are now able to print, scan and copy at any of the MFD s listed in the table below. You will need to use your proximity/swipe card to release your print job or to activate the MFD to photocopy or scan. Scanning jobs are sent direct to your Swinburne email. 4.
