3 Windows 7 1) Setup your laptop to connect to the tusecurewireless wireless network 2) Download and install the wireless printing software a. Navigate to the download location appropriate to your version of windows i. Windows 32bit: www7.law.temple.edu/media/17839/tuwirelessprinting_for_w2k.exe ii. Windows 64bit: www7.law.temple.edu/media/17845/tuwirelessprinting_for_x64.exe b. If prompted to run or save the file, choose Save c. Select Desktop from the left panel of the save window and click Save d. If notified when download has completed, click Close e. Go to your desktop and double- click the TUWirelessPrinting installer icon f. If prompted to allow to allow the program from an unknown publisher to make changes to your computer, Click Yes g. Click Install to begin the installation h. When the installation is complete, click Finish 3) Enable Duplex (Front & Back) Printing a. Click the Start Orb (usually in the bottom left corner of the screen) b. Select Devices and Printers c. Right Click Temple Wireless Print Queue d. Select Printing Preferences e. Click the Finishing tab f. Check the box next to Print on both sides g. Click OK 2

4 Windows Vista 1) Setup your laptop to connect to the tusecurewireless wireless network 2) Download and install the wireless printing software a. Navigate to the download location appropriate to your version of windows i. Windows 32bit: www7.law.temple.edu/media/17839/tuwirelessprinting_for_w2k.exe ii. Windows 64bit: www7.law.temple.edu/media/17845/tuwirelessprinting_for_x64.exe b. If prompted to run or save the file, choose Save c. Select Desktop from the left panel of the save window and click Save d. If notified when download has completed, click Close e. Go to your desktop and double- click the TUWirelessPrinting installer icon f. If prompted that An unidentified program wants to access your computer, click Allow g. Click Install to begin the installation h. When the installation is complete, click Finish 3) Enable Duplex (Front & Back) Printing a. Click the Start Orb (usually in the bottom left corner of the screen) b. Select Devices and Printers c. Right Click Temple Wireless Print Queue d. Select Printing Preferences e. Select Desktop from the left panel of the save window and click Save d. If notified when download has completed, click Close e. Go to your desktop and double- click the TUWirelessPrinting installer icon f. If prompted that The publisher could not be verified. Click Run g. Click Install to begin the installation h. When the installation is complete, click Finish 3) Enable Duplex (Front & Back) Printing a. Click Start Button b. Select Control Panel c. Double Click Printers and Faxes d. Right Click Temple Wireless Print Queue e. Select Printing Preferences f. Select Finishing Tab g. Check the box next to "Print on Both Sides" 4

6 Mac OSX Mountain Lion 1) Setup your laptop to connect to the tusecurewireless wireless network 2) Update permissions a. Click the Finder icon in your dock b. Click Go in Finder s menu bar at the top of the screen c. Select Go to Folder d. Type /Library/Printers/ then click Go e. Single click to select the PPDs folder, then click File in the menu bar at the top of the screen and select Get Info f. Click the arrow to the left of Sharing & Permissions g. Click the lock icon on the lower right portion of the PPDs Info window h. Enter your computer username and password and click OK i. Click the username that you are currently using (or admin) in the Sharing & Permissions list at the bottom of the PPDs Info window. j. Select Read & Write k. Click the Gear icon at the bottom of the PPDs Info window, then select Apply to enclosed items l. When asked if you re sure you want to perform the action, click OK 3) Download and install the wireless printing software a. Run Safari and navigate to: www7.law.temple.edu/media/17842/tuwirelessprinting_for_osx.dmg b. Once the download has completed, double- click TU Mac Wireless Installer in the Downloads window. c. Install the Pharos Popup Software i. In the TU Mac Wireless Installer window, double- click Popup.pkg 5

7 ii. Click Continue iii. Click Continue iv. Click Install v. Enter your computer s username and password, then click OK vi. Click Close d. Run the TU Wireless Mac Installer i. In the TU Mac Wireless Installer window, double- click TU Wireless Mac Installer ii. When prompted to open the file, click Open iii. When task has completed, click Quit 4) Enable Duplex (Front & Back) Printing a. Click the Apple icon on top left of screen b. Select System Preferences c. Click Print and Fax d. Click "TU Wireless Printers" e. Click "Options and Supplies" f. Click the "Driver" Tab g. Check the box next to "Duplex Unit" h. Click OK 6

8 Mac OSX Lion 1) Setup your laptop to connect to the tusecurewireless wireless network 2) Update permissions a. Click the Finder icon in your dock b. Once the download has completed, double- click TU Mac Wireless Installer in the Downloads window. c. Install the Pharos Popup Software i. In the TU Mac Wireless Installer window, double- click Popup.pkg ii. Click Continue iii. Click Continue iv. Click Install v. Enter your computer s username and password, then click OK vi.
