This sound insulationtest was performedby the ArchitecturalTechnologyLaboratoryof the School of Architecture,in accordancewith the proceduresof the Y.A. The test result reflectsexclusivelyon the propertiesof the specifictest specimen.the tests have taken place under laboratoryconditions,so as to obtain the actual sound insulationpropertiesof the test specimen. Under different mounting conditions involving flanking sound transmission,the Sound ReductionIndex might be reduced,especiallyif the flanking partitionshave equal or inferiorsound insulationproperties.
