This test reportis the resultof a laboratorytest of the sound insulationpropertiesof a buildingelement. The resultsobtainedfrom measurementson the specificbuildingelementare presentedin detail, and a singlefigureratingfor its soundinsulationpropertiesis calculated. This sound insulationtest was performedby the ArchitecturalTechnologyLaboratoryof the School of Architecture,in accordancewith the proceduresof the Y.A. KA/679122.8.96, F.E.K.826, part B', article1, paragraph2 and after the appropriateapprovals by the administrativeauthoritiesof the Aristoe Universityof Thessalon iki. The test result reflectsexclusivelyon the propertiesof the specifictest specimen.the tests have taken place under laboratoryconditions,so as to obtain the actual sound insulationpropertiesof the test specimen. Under different mounting conditions involving flanking sound transmission, the Sound ReductionIndex might be reduced, especiallyif the flanking partitionshave equal or inferiorsound insulationproperties. The Laboratorymaintainsthe right to use the test results in scientificpublications, scientificpapers, researchreports, and any other kind of studies of purely researchor scientificnature, without revealing the name of the Clientor the type of the product. 2.
