Leadership Programs GE Corporate Programs The Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP) is an entry-level development program for energetic and talented employees who demonstrate outstanding technical and analytical skills, business acumen and strong potential for a leadership career in IT. The program runs approximately 24 months and includes rotational assignments coupled with intense graduate-level training opportunities. GE s Experienced Information Management Program (EIMP) targets mid-career high-potential employees who exhibit a winning combination of leadership values, technical abilities, and business skills. The program offers participants an opportunity to broaden their network and increase their knowledge base by interacting with other EIMPs, key IM leaders and program faculty. GE Corporate Curriculum The HR Development Forum (HRDF) is a three-day annual conference on innovation in the Human Resources function. It consists of several miniseminars focusing on the most advanced skills, knowledge and tools available to the Human Resources community. Attendees are chosen through a nomination process. The Advanced HR Development Course (AHRDC) is a two-week course for employees who have been promoted to executive band or who will be candidates for executive band within 12 months. Participants examine the GE growth initiatives and their implications on HR initiatives. The course provides a framework necessary for a proactive strategist and change-agent to develop and implement HR programs that are linked to the business scorecard. Candidates are nominated through Session C. Program participants are nominated by their business Chief Financial Officer and must have at least seven years of finance experience, with a minimum one-year of experience at GE. Auditors travel 100 percent of the time, with their four-month reviews spanning multiple GE business, locations and audit types. GE Consumer Finance Programs GE Consumer Finance's Chief Financial Officer sponsors a Best Practices group. This two-year program focuses on highpotential finance professionals. The learning objectives assume participants are experienced managers who are ready to lead on a higher, more strategic level. Course attendance is determined by Session C nomination. GE Consumer Finance-Americas Functional Academy The GE Consumer Finance-Americas IT Academy is under development. The Academy is an annual, nomination-based program that focuses on high potential employees. It will include classroom, project work and personal development.
