Banner Document Management System (BDMS) Integration with Self Service Banner (SSB) We are pleased to announce the integration of Banner Document Management System (BDMS) with Self Service Banner (SSB). You now have the capability of viewing Invoices, Checks and Direct Deposit Advices in Self Service Banner (SSB). Fund/Org security remains in effect within BDMS. NOTE: Images are available for invoices paid beginning Jan 01, 2013

View Documents From the View Document screen in SSB, the Invoice number (EX: I1431642) and Check Disbursement number (EX: 00132361) appear as a hyperlink by which you will be able to retrieve the image. Right click on the Invoice number or Check Disbursement number and select open the document in a new window. This allows you to view multiple images and the View Document page in SSB at the same time. See image: view document NOTES: 1. If you double click on the link to open a document without using the right click open in new window feature you will discover the View Document page is no longer displayed; you must use the browser s back button to return to the View Document page. 2. Refreshing* the page may be required if the image or PDF does not immediately parse. Quite often, the browser attempts to provide the document before it has the opportunity to be properly rendered. * The REFRESH icon is located at the top right portion of the address bar. 3. You may have to configure your Internet Explorer browser to be able to use BDMS. See the last section of this document for specific browser configuration instructions. 4. If you continue to have a problem accessing BDMS, call the Help Desk on x2900.

Print Checks / Direct Deposit Advice Both Internet Explorer (IE) and Adobe offer assistance in printing PDF documents. To use IE, right click on the document to print. To use Adobe, hover towards the bottom of the document and a toolbar will appear. See image: print check

Browser Configuration This integration of resources is best suited to be run on Internet Explorer on Windows PCs.
