1 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page 1 Browser Configurations Installation Guide and Machine Setup The first requirement for using CURA is to ensure that your browser is set up accurately. 1. Once you have signed into CURA in your Internet Explorer browser, use the Tools tab from the top menu of the browser to scroll down and select Internet Options.

4 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page 4 Add CURA to Local Intranet 1. The following settings page will then open. Select the second tab within the page labeled Security and select Trusted Sites.

5 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page 5 2. Select the Sites button and add your CURA URL to the list by starting to type curaweb into the field and selecting your CURA site from the resulting list of allowed websites. Once the URL is in the list, select Close.

6 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page 6 Remove pop-up blockers for CURA 1. Next, navigate to the Privacy tab from the Internet Options page. Ensure that the Turn on Popup Blocker checkbox is selected, and then select the Settings button.

7 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page 7 2. Again, add CURA to the list by starting to type curaweb into the field and selecting your CURA site from the resulting list of allowed sites. Once the URL is in the list, select Close.

Select Close from the Internet Options window and then proceed to close your browser to activate your setting changes and reopen it to sign back into CURA. Please Note: If you are not logged on to CURA while making these setting changes, the dropdowns may not populate with your CURA URL.

9 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page 9 Installing the.net Framework The.NET Framework is a programming infrastructure created by Microsoft for building, deploying, and running applications and services that use.net technologies such as desktop applications and web services. With the.net Framework installed you will be able to use all current and future mindscope CURA tools. Please Note: The.NET framework and security installation will only have to be performed once on your machine. 1. Ensure that you have the appropriate.net Framework installed for your computer. If you are using Windows 7 you will not have to download the.net Framework. Instead, select your start menu at the bottom left corner of your computer screen and select Did you know? You may check whether you have the.net Framework already installed by going to your Control Panel selecting Programs, and then selecting Programs and Features. If Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 Client or higher is within the list, continue with the next step. If you do not have Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 Client or higher, search for.net Framework on to download and install it. After downloading it from the web, continue with the next step.

10 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page From within your Control Panel, select Programs. 3. Select Turn Windows features on or off from the Programs and Features section. Did you know? If you select Programs and Features, you can check whether the.net Framework is already installed.

11 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page Next, expand the Microsoft.NET Framework and select both checkboxes within. 5. Once both checkboxes are selected, the Microsoft.NET Framework section will be checked as well. Select OK and wait for the setting to configure. This may take a few minutes.

Once logged in, navigate to the Tools Module to complete the process by setting up the.net Security. Installing.NET Security 1. To begin installing the.net Security, click on the second Click Here to Begin Download located in the second frame. 2. You will then be prompted to download the.net Security. Click on Run to activate the.net Setup which automatically installs the.net Security components.

13 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page If you are not using Windows 7, the look of the installation screen will be different. Otherwise, select the flashing security icon from the bottom of your screen 4. Select Yes from the next screen to complete the installation.

14 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page 14 Batch PARIS run check 1. Select Batch Paris from the list of available Tools within the Tools Module to ensure it is accessible and functional. Please Note: You may have to complete the.net Security steps a couple of times if the Batch PARIS Tool window does not open properly. You may also need to log out of CURA and then back in before running the Batch PARIS Tool.

15 Installation Guide and Machine Setup Page The Batch PARIS Screen should look like this: Please Note: Loading of Batch PARIS may take a few minutes. Please wait patiently while the Batch PARIS window loads on your machine.
