Introduction The HP Experience Centre, Melbourne, is a 300m 2 facility located in Melbourne CBD, and is purposed to enable our partners, clients, resellers and consumers to experience a range of HP products and services in action. Technology showcased in the showroom includes a full range of HP printers, notebooks, desktops, servers, storage, networking, monitors and services. The versatility of this centre enables it to be used as a product experience centre, an executive meeting space, a training facility and a function room. Working Areas & Meeting Spaces The MEC has the versatility to be utilised as a product experience centre, an executive & general meeting space, a training facility and a function room. The most commonly booked areas are: Executive Boardroom 12 seats Integrated Audio & Visual Audio conferencing facility Server, Storage & Network Area 7 seats Integrated Audio & Visual Access to server room for demonstrations Entire Centre 90 seated or 120 standing Surround Audio & Visual Theatre-style seating or Cocktail-style standing
Product Demonstrations The MEC floor space is also fully equipped to handle your product & service demonstration requirements, with capabilities such as: - Surround 47 digital signage displays and integrated audio, connected through Scala technology. To demonstrate using this technology: 1. Advise in your booking request that you have content you d like to play on the DSDs 2. On the day of your demonstration, bring a USB of your content to our concierge. They will work with you to arrange the DSDs and presentations to your format. Allow a 30min buffer before your demonstration for set-up. - Customer segment zones including Enterprise, Small/Medium Businesses, and Graphics Specialists, which include all hero product models. Indicate that you would like to demonstrate in one of these areas in your online booking form, and our concierge will work with you to arrange all the products and content you need to demonstrate successfully. - Walk-in server room showcasing the latest releases in ProLiant Servers, 3PAR Storage & HP Networking products, capable of demonstrating an array of HP technologies with the assistance of dedicated digital signage, audio, and meeting table. Making a room/event booking 1. Visit the MEC website and select Book a Visit 2. Tick I am HP Employee 3. Fill out the booking form as per your requirements and press Submit 4. You will be contacted (generally within 48 hours) with a confirmation that your requested booking time is available. If it is unavailable, our concierge will assist in finding a suitable alternative for you. If you have an urgent request, call our concierge directly: (03) 9620 5808. 5. If you require catering, our concierge will forward you our catering menus with some recommended options based on your event. Catering Options Along with the catering menus, the MEC has pre-set event styles which can assist you in organising your event. Depending on your chosen event style, we can arrange our audio, visual, and catering, to best support you. Our concierge will assist you in arranging this, however for your information, please find our pre-set event styles also attached here. Event Styles
What to expect on-site Guests generally arrive via taxi, however some street parking may be available on Little Collins & adjacent streets. Some underground parking may be available- concierge will work with you to arrange this if possible. Once you arrive, the concierge will assist you in arranging product for your event. Given the online booking process is followed correctly, concierge will usually have already prepared the area for your arrival. It is however important to note that if you have any content you would like displayed via projector or digital signage, you must bring this with you and supply it to concierge with adequate time for set up. Any catering you organise will arrive as per your prior arrangements with concierge. Alternatively, café s and restaurants surround our location in the CBD, and concierge will assist you with any coffee or meal orders/directions.
