8 HISTORY The ATP Conference Centre is located on the historical site of the old Eveleigh Locomotive Workshop built in At its peak in the 1930s, the workshop maintained over 540 locomotives each year and employed 3000 skilled workers. Since closing in 1989, the site was redeveloped and is now a thriving and vibrant business park. Much of the Workshop s charm has been restored, showcased and integrated in to a modern hub to provide a distinctive heritage backdrop for your event. SUSTAINABILITY ATP has developed a blueprint for energy, water and waste management efficiencies. We have achieved 30-60% reduction in energy and water consumption through efficient lighting and solar electricity to drought resistant landscaping and automated irrigation. The Greatest Building is the one that already exists

9 We were looking for a very special space for a very special gala dinner event, and Australian Technology Park ticked all the boxes for our client. We wanted a blank canvas to enable us to create a visual experience of light, colour and sound. The Exhibition Hall was perfect we were able to build a central stage which allowed us to focus the entertainment and engage the guests. We were able to bring in state- -of-the-art lighting and sound to create the spectacular atmosphere that our client wanted to deliver to his guests who represented over 85 countries throughout the world. It was a world class event, and ATP was the perfect venue. Thankyou. ATP was a great venue to hold our conference. All our delegates loved the atmosphere it created, the ease of transport and parking and most of all the rustic warehouse feel with modern technologies. This has been the second time hiring ATP and we would recommend it to other organisations too! Thanks again for all your help! As you can see from the other bookings, we ve really introduced the Christian networks to ATP! (RICE, Disrupt and EQUIP that would have enquired about the venue last year). We are a unique organisation that really reaches out to more than our usual networks which is why word spreads really quickly when we run events. I m sure I ll be in touch soon to secure our next booking. We have been holding events at ATP for over 3 years and love coming back each time! For a company running multiple 4-day conferences throughout the year, it really ticks all the boxes for us. The venue itself is fantastic and really leaves a lasting impression on our guests and more importantly, the staff are there to manage our experience from start to finish.
