E-Commerce User Instructions Oxarc s E-Commerce system provides the following functions via the Internet: purchase any products that we sell. request special products that we don t normally stock. create lists of items, called Order Groups, that you purchase from us on a regular basis. The entire group can then be ordered at once. check the status of prior orders that are still open with us. view a summary of your account. Before using our E-Commerce you must first register and have your registration processed. If you have not yet registered, click [register] on the initial E- Commerce screen, fill out the form and submit it by clicking [register] again. Your registration will be processed and you will be notified by e-mail within 1 business day. The following pages provide a brief overview of: finding products and placing an order. creating and using order groups. requesting special, non-stock items. Page 1

Sign-in Page You must sign-in, as an authorized user, before using E-Commerce. If this is your first visit, click [register] and fill out the form. Your registration will be processed by Oxarc and you will be notified by e-mail or phone when your E-Commerce account is ready to use. Registration Page When filling out the form remember: the username must be unique, remember your password, a valid e-mail address must be entered. Page 2

Customer HOME Screen This is your HOME E-commerce screen. It shows your basic customer information and the functions that you may use. ORDER ENTRY: Place a new order. ACCOUNT INQUIRY: Review your open orders and customer information. CUSTOMIZE: Create an order group for repetitive orders. SHOPPING CART: Review your shopping cart. LOGOUT: Exit from E-commerce. Placing An Order - Order Entry SEARCH HISTORY: Search for items you have purchased previously and add these items to your new order. SEARCH FOR GASES: Search our entire inventory for a specific gas. SEARCH FOR HARDGOODS: Search our entire inventory for a specific hardgood. CUSTOMER PART NUMBER: Search for a particular customer part number (must enter entire part number). SPECIAL ITEM: Request an item you cannot find in our inventory. Placing An Order -The Search Screen Enter search criteria in any or all fields on this screen. You may click [search] without entering any criteria to see our entire inventory. In the Description area separate multiple words with a comma. You can enter a partial or complete part number. Page 4

Placing An Order - Search Results Click [first, previous, next, last] to scroll through the list of items returned. To see the details for an item, and add it to your order, click on the Part Number for that item. Placing An Order - Item Detail Any special pricing will be shown on this screen. Change the quantity to the number you wish to order and click [reprice] to update the total cost (Extended Price). To add this item to your, order click [order]. To add this item to one of your order groups, select the group name from the dropdown list and click [add to group]. Page 5

Placing An Order - Shopping Cart This is your shopping cart; it shows the items you have selected so far. It also shows the sales tax, if applicable. Delivery charges, if any, will be calculated at final checkout. From here you can: - add additional items by entering the part number and quantity. - add additional items by clicking the [Search for...] or [Customer Part Number] buttons. - add additional items from your personal order groups by clicking [Order Groups]. - change the quantity for an item already on the list or remove the item. To do this click on the items Part number. - proceed to checkout to complete your order. You can also save your order for later. If you Logout of E-Commerce at this point your shopping basket will be saved for the next time you log in. Page 6

Placing An Order - Using Personal Order Groups If the desired group list is not shown, select the name from the drop-down list and click [show group list]. You can add any or all of the items on your personal order group to your shopping cart. Check the items, in the Order column, that you want to add and click [add to cart]. To add all the items from the group click [Check All] and then [add to cart]. You can also change the quantities in the group list. This will change the quantities for this order only; it will not change your personal order group. When all items have been added to your order click [checkout]. Page 7

Placing An Order - Checkout This screen shows your total including delivery charge, if any. Enter your PO number, select delivery method from the list and add any extra information in the Notes: section. When you click [checkout] your order will be placed. A confirmation message will be sent to your e-mail address. You can review this or any other open orders on the Account Inquiry screen. Page 8

Personal Order Groups Personal order groups are used to create lists of items that you order on a regular basis. You can create as many lists as you need and then order directly from these lists. To add a new group, type the name and click [add group]. To view the contents of a group, add items to the group or change quantities click [show group list]. To delete items from a group click [delete group lines]. Order Groups - Adding Items and Changing Quantities To add items to the group enter the item number and quantity and click [add to group]. If you do not know the item number you can find it in the Order Entry-Search-Item Detail screen (see page 4) and add it to the group from there. Item quantities can be changed here. Page 9

Special Item Requests Use this screen to request items that you cannot find in our inventory. Enter as much information about the item as you can and click [submit]. You will be notified via e-mail of the status of your request. Page 10
