1 Ordering Textbooks Online through the LCCC Bookstore The following instructions will walk you through purchasing your textbooks online through the LCCC Bookstore. For a flat shipping rate, the LCCC bookstore will ship all purchased course material to you. 1. From Lorain County Community College homepage ( under the column Quick Links, click Bookstore. This will take you to the Bookstore homepage. a. Or go directly to the bookstore homepage by going tohttp://bookstore.lorainccc.edu. 2. On the left side click Textbooks. 1

2 How To Order Books Online 3. Please read the screen first! Scroll down and click on Click Here to Order or View Your Textbooks! 4. Look at your class schedule and select the course department. (For example, English 161 would be under ENGL). After choosing the department, click on Continue to Get Course Materials. 5. Select the course number, section, and instructor that matches your course schedule. For example, a student taking English 161 with the instructor Nelson would choose ENGL161 D1602, Instructor Nelson. They must also choose ENGL 161 ALL as this indicates that all English 161 students need that book. Then click Continue to Get Course Materials. 2

3 6. PSEO students under Option B are able to select all REQUIRED course materials. Add all REQUIRED course materials to cart. Option B PSEO students CANNOT purchase RECOMMENDED or OPTIONAL resources under funding. All RECOMMENDED and OPTIONAL resources can be purchased at cost to the student. PSEO students can choose USED or NEW textbooks. If student wants to purchase optional or recommended items, please make a 2 nd order for those items. 7. After repeating this procedure for all courses, click on Shopping Cart. 3

4 How To Order Books Online 8. The shopping cart will show all textbooks that will be purchased. Make sure to check the preference and quantity. Updates can be made from this page. Please make sure quantity/item count is correct. After reviewing shopping cart, proceed by clicking Continue Checkout. 9. Update your order preferences by choosing Add Only Required. This will automatically update the order should your instructor decide to add another REQUIRED textbook. Check the disclaimer and click Continue Checkout. 4

5 10. If you have already purchased books in previous semesters you will be prompted for an account number. You must enter your student ID number at that time. 11. Register to purchase books by clicking Register Here and then click Create profile for Browsing and Shopping (Students). Complete the registration form and click Register. 5

6 How To Order Books Online 12. Fill in your address (an that you normally use) and a password for future logins. Then click Log In. 13. Fill out Billing and Shipping Address. Choose between picking up at the store or shipping to home. Click Continue. Also, if the person placing the order is different than the person picking up the order, please note this in the Message to send with order. 6

Under Payment Options choose one of the following: Financial Aid if you are receiving financial aid and would like use it to pay for your books, click Financial Aid; If you are NOT receiving Financial Aid and will be paying for the books directly, choose one of the credit card options of Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. 15. The Account Number will be your student ID number. Check the verification box and then click Submit Order. The last screen should say Thank you for your order. Your order number is XXXX. If you do not get this screen, the order did not transfer to the bookstore. Also, if you have any questions about the status of an order, you can always log-in and check the status of the order. If more than a week has passed, and you have not received an stating the order has been shipped/ready for pick up, please contact the bookstore via at bookstore@lorainccc.edu. 7
