3 Opening a new account 1. Enter the address you would like to use for your account. (This is the address where all order acknowledgements, status, and tracking information will be sent). 2. Check the No, I want to create a new account button. 3. Click on the Continue button. * Is a required field 3

Confirm your password by re-entering the password you entered above. 3. Hit your Enter key to submit your password. * Is a required field 4

5 Opening a new account con t If you get the following message: Your account was previously set up by the Sanford B2B Team to process orders submitted to our office prior to the site s launch on 10/1/2011. To reset your password on your account: 1. Call Sanford B2B Samples at x 1745 or 2. Use the password reminder tool to retrieve the current password 5

6 Opening a new account con t Enter your billing/contact information. 1. If paying by credit card, please enter the billing detail for the credit card that will be used. 2. If you choose to bill your sample order to your account, please enter your contact information here. The bill-to address on file with our Corporate Office will override any billing detail submitted here. 3. Click on the Continue button. NOTE: Changes can be made to this account as necessary by the account holder through our account management feature on this site or by contacting Sanford B2B Samples at x * Is a required field 6

8 Managing an existing account To Edit: 1. Your Password or Bill-To information: Click on Modify Personal Information 2. Your Ship-To Addresses: Click on Manage Shipping Addresses To View: 1. Order Details, Order Status, Shipping Detail and Tracking Information: Click on View Previous Orders 2. Saved Shopping Carts Click on Saved Shopping Carts 8

10 Placing an order Finding an item Search Box Advanced Search The Search Box - Input options: 1. Catalog Item # /SKU 2. Partial or Full Item Description / Keyword 3. Barrel Color 4. Category 5. Brand Advanced Search - Extended Options Allows more refined search. Any or all of the categories can be completed to initiate the search. Once the search criteria are entered / selected click on Continue to initiate the search. 10

11 Placing an order Finding an item con t Browse by Category or Brand Select the Category or Brand of writing instrument you are interested in by either: 1. Click on the name of the Category or Brand 2. Click on the icon for the appropriate writing instrument Browse by Price Writing instruments can also be searched based on price. Click on the price range option that best suits your inquiry. 11

12 Placing an order Finding an item con t Refining Search Results Click on category if further refinement is needed Use arrows to scroll through results Click on New Search to begin again Click page # for results on that page or View All Results to view all results on one page Use drop down to sort results by: SKU, Description, Low Price, High Price 12

13 Placing an order Adding items to the order Adding products to your order is easy. After your product search 1. Hover mouse over item name to show basic product detail for review before selection. 2. Click on item name or More Details to see all information associated with the writing instrument 13

14 Placing an order Adding items to the order con t Blank Samples Adding products to your order is easy. 3. Select the Image Type: (Note: The default is Random Image. If you require a Blank Sample you must select Blank or a Random Image will be sent.) 14

15 Placing an order Adding items to the order con t Blind Shipping Adding products to your order is easy. 4. Select the Shipping Type: (Note: If you require this order to ship Blind, Blind Shipping must be selected here.) 15

17 Placing an order Adding items to the order con t You are now ready to Continue Shopping to add to your order or Checkout and complete your purchase. If any final modifications need to be made to the item they can be made on this screen. 17

18 Checkout Note: The name of your Sales Rep is required. If you do not know your Sales Rep s name, please contact B2B Samples at x Billing Information is auto populated with the billing detail saved on the user s Samples website account. (See setting up a new account and/or modifying an account for more information regarding billing). Click on Continue when you are satisfied with the billing information to proceed with check out. 18

19 Checkout - con t Shipping Information The ship-to information is captured on this screen. There are four options: 1. Use my billing address select if shipping to your bill-to address. (Click on Copy from my Billing Address to auto-fill the fields). 2. Select Default shipping address if shipping to auto-fill the default shipping address pre-set in your Sample website account set up. 3. Choose from list of previously used ship-to locations. 4. Add new shipping address if you would like to use a ship-to that has not been used in the past or is not saved in the system. Click on Continue once you complete the ship-to detail. Note: Failure to select the correct Address Type: may delay the shipment of your order. 19

20 Checkout - con t Shipping Method Click on your preferred Carrier (FedEx or UPS) and choose a shipping method. If you wish to use your carrier account to ship your order, please see Checkout- Options for more information. Select Continue to the next step of the checkout process. Note: Please see Disclaimer regarding shipments. 20

21 Checkout - con t Sales Tax Calculation While B2B Sample customers are not billed sales tax on Sample orders, we my ask from time to time for you to clarify the ship-to county. We use this information for internal purposes only. If you are unsure of the county, please select the default county in the drop-down. Click on Continue to proceed to the next step in the checkout process. 21

22 Checkout-Options Payment & Other Information The Optional: Add P.O. #, Carrier Charge Requests or Comments about your order has been made available to you to make special requests with your order. It appears after completing your shipment information. Please use this open Text Box to notate or request: 1. Purchase Order # 2. Preferred Carrier 3 rd Party Account Number 3. Special requests 4. Reference Information 22

23 Checkout - con t Payment & Other Information If your sample order requires payment to complete processing, you have the option of either billing the expense to your Sanford B2B Account or using a credit card. Choose Salesman / SAP Account Number or Credit Card Next, click on Continue to complete payment 23

24 Checkout - con t Payment Type & Payment Details When billing your Sample order to your Sanford B2B Account, please enter your Account Number in the text box labeled Customer SAP Account Number and then click on Place Order to complete the transaction If you select Credit Card the Payment Details screen will appear asking for your credit card information. 1. Choose the Card Type from the drop down box. 2. Enter your Credit Card Number 3. Select the appropriate drop down choices for the Expiration Date 4. Enter your Security Code from the back of the credit card Click on Place Order to complete the transaction 24

25 Order Confirmation You ve successfully completed your order when you receive the following Order Number / Order Confirmation notice. An electronic order confirmation will be sent to your address on file. Once the order has been processed, a shipment notification will be sent to you with a tracking number. 25
