Company developments 2015 Cornerstone contract with Eithad Airways for ICS. Joint launch of BEYOND.FLEET.SERVICES with AerFin Ltd. followed by extension and expanding engines contract with airberlin and a multi-year contract with Lion Air. Additional cabin modification for SAS and new major refurbishment contract with Air Europa 2014 Opening of new component repair facility in Malaysia in Q1 2014. 2013 Extension of strategic partnership and cooperations with Etihad Airways for ICS, Japan Airlines for engine services and a joint venture with Aigle Azur for Line Maintenance. 2012 Cornerstone contract with Finnair signed for engine maintenance and ICS. 2011 Mubadala Development Company gains sole ownership of SR Technics. Launch of the VIP Completions business. New five-year contract with SWISS for aircraft maintenance and component services. 2010 Opening of a new major facility in Malta for maintenance of Airbus A320 family. 2009 Mubadala Development Company acquires majority control of SR Technics. 2006 Mubadala Development Company, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise and Istithmar World become new owners of SR Technics. 2005 Strengthening of market position and build-up of a global presence, with the acquisition of SR Technics Airfoil Services in Cork, Ireland and over 800 aircraft under contract from customers. The contract with easyjet marks a significant milestone in the industry. 2004 SR Technics acquires FLS Aerospace and integrates it into the Group. 2002 SR Technics is transferred to new ownership (3i and Star Capital as major shareholders). 1997 SR Technics formerly the technical department of Swissair since its establishment in 1931 establishes as a separate subsidiary within SAirGroup.
