University of Houston s Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship presents Wolffest, April 7-9, 2015 What is Wolffest? Wolffest is a lab for University of Houston entrepreneurship students started in 2002. Serving as a business simulation, students create pop-up restaurants on campus for three days in April and compete to earn the most profits. What happens with Wolffest profits? Wolffest earnings fund the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship s unique out-of-classroom education, including travel to business plan competitions and much more... [see next page] How much value does Wolffest create? In 2014, students created a total cash value just shy of $100,000. With in-kind donations included (i.e. tents, t-shirts, etc.) the total value created was $193,454. For 2015, we expect to increase this total to approximately $235,000. (estimated increase based on 22% compound annual growth rate)
