The OB-30 oxygen booster and NB-45 nitrogen booster are effective tools for cutting costs and saving time when servicing your aircraft. Each of these compact and inexpensive boosters allows maximum utilization of your oxygen and nitrogen bottles while saving you time and money. Here s how it works: Oxygen A full K-Cylinder of oxygen has a volume of 251 cu ft at 2,200 psi. Most oxygen services require pressures of 1,850 psi. Without an oxygen booster you can use only 36 cu ft of your bottle before the pressure falls below 1,850 psi. Assuming a cost of $33 per K-Cylinder, the price per cu ft works out to be.13 cents. The OB-30 allows you to use an additional 150 cu ft of volume, equal to a savings of almost $20 per bottle. At this rate a booster will pay for itself after servicing 241 bottles. Nitrogen A full K-Cylinder of nitrogen has a volume of 335 cu ft at 3,000 psi. This makes a nitrogen booster essential. At this rate you are saving the cost of your entire bottle. At $33 dollars per bottle the NB-45 will pay for itself after servicing only 106 bottles. The Big Payback In addition to the hard cost savings on gas by not returning nearly full bottles, the NB-45 and OB-30 boosters will allow you to drastically reduce your operation s staff time for servicing aircraft and changing out and re-ordering oxygen and nitrogen bottles. You can also cut your in-house inventory of bottles in half because you won t need nearly as many backup bottles. In these days of budget belt-tightening, boosters will provide a payoff sooner than later. 14 +1 208-378-9888 www.aerospecialties.com
