This will be a busy check point but there is ample space and we hope to set up a corner for support drivers showing a film. Support drivers can use the showers at this point if they wish. There are also points to charge your phone. THE FINISH: Southend Pier Western Esplanade Southend-on-Sea SS1 1EE Checkpoint open: 12.00am 3:00pm Distance into route: 100KM Facilities: Toilets, café open from 9am at the end of the pier. There is a tram which travels to the end of the pier, we have permission to use this for our trekkers on the return however not for supporters, therefore if you wish you use the tram after 8.15am when it is open to the public it will cost 4 for a return journey or 3.50 for a single). Otherwise you are welcome to walk the last 2 kilometres with your team (1.3 miles). Parking: There is not an official car park at the pier.
