In 1961 OTTO developed the first rotating dial true airspeed indicator for aircraft. Since that time, OTTO has designed and manufactured components for a wide range of applications including commercial, military, and general aviation. OTTO has been licensed, by the Boeing Company, to manufacture and sell aircraft electrical wiring harnesses to operators and other customers worldwide. The company also offers access to global inventory for over 1,000,000 catalog items plus a complete set of supply chain and logistics services, including order processing, stocking and fulfillment, and inventory management. Since 1946 OTTO has been servicing and providing aircraft parts. Some of the largest names in the aircraft industry trust OTTO to repair, manufacture, and distribute their aircraft components. Our strict quality control, outstanding service and detailed manufacturing have led the Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, and others to choose OTTO as the service provider and manufacturer for a broad range of proprietary aircraft components. Since 2002, OTTO has been a Boeing licensed and approved manufacturer of Boeing Components. Today OTTO manufactures and distributes a catalog of over 250 of these PMA licensed Boeing parts including engine, fuel and landing gear electrical wire harnesses on such aircraft as the B767, B717, MD-11, MD-90, MD-80, DC-10/KC-10 & DC-9. Reduce Suppliers Reduce Lead-times Reduce Inventory Reduce Cost In 2006, OTTO formed a partnership with Aviall to provide support for distribution of new PMA Manufactured CF6-50 turbine engine wiring harnesses via Aviall s 39 global customer service centers. Today this partnership has successfully expanded to include other high demand commodities on multiple proprietary programs. OTTO first entered into a licensing i agreement with Honeywell in 2003. Today OTTO owns and operates two Honeywell licensed and authorized service centers and provides the repair and overhaul services for various avionics systems installed on such aircraft as the F-16, B-52, C-130, F-4, F-5, KC-135, B-2, AWACs, P-3 and Apache, along with the DC-10/KC-10 PB-100 autopilot system and B747 air data and flight guidance components. In 2008, OTTO has formed a partnership with Aerospace Products International for exclusive distribution of its instrument/avionics repair and overhaul services to customers worldwide. In 2010, OTTO formed a partnership with Aaxico to provide Worldwide Aviation Support for distribution of new manufactured CF6-80 turbine engine wiring harnesses. Aaxico and OTTO now also provide rotable exchange, repair/overhaul, and DER support for all GE, CFM International, and Pratt & Whitney turbine engine wiring harnesses. Both companies working together are able to develop customized engine support programs that reduce direct engine maintenance costs and improve long-term component reliability.
