Leadership Bertling strives for leadership-position in providing best practice industry specific solutions to global Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining and Engineering Contractors. Customer focused Bertling provides operational excellence by continual improvement and innovation in customer focused Supply Chain Management. Tall order? The short answer is Bertling.

Bertling History In 1865, Friedrich H. Bertling, just 23 years old, registered his own company F.H. Bertling with the aim of providing transport links throughout Scandinavia and the Baltic region, with access to the industrial centres of Continental Europe. F.H. Bertling, a Senator of the seaport town of Lübeck in Germany and Consul of the Kingdom of Norway, was actively involved in community issues and decisions concerning trade. Bertling s vision to combine overland and sea transportation, linking the German industrial regions with Scandinavia and the Baltic states, became the focus of his transportation philosophy. Consequently, a diverse business developed to include chartering, freight forwarding, warehousing, custom clearance, stevedoring and insurance. Bertling Today The legacy of traditions and ethics as established by the founder almost 150 years ago still remain essential cornerstones of Bertling s philosophy today and in the future. Fast moving times, a competitive environment and a flexible approach to future challenges do not alleviate the need to preserve and maintain proven values to which the managing partners are committed. The continuous success of Bertling, however, is determined by the motivation and ability of its people. It is in this arena where achievements are realised. They are essential to client satisfaction and future growth. Bertling is focussed on satisfying the ever-changing needs of its global customers. Big. Bigger. Bertling.
