1. What is Ocloud Backup? Ocloud Backup is a powerful cloud backup solution for PC and Android smartphones and tablets, which stores the backup content in the personal and secure space of the user in the cloud. This space is called the Ocloud and can be accessed by the user from a wide variety of platforms, both fixed and mobile. A complete back up service for the Windows platform that stores the backup content in the personal and secure space of the user in the cloud: Create and manage backups of your documents on all your Windows desktop and laptop computers. Documents are stored securely in your Ocloud. Recover your documents from any of the devices connected to your Ocloud (Windows PC or Android mobile devices). Incremental backups in addition to full backup to save you time Users can select individual or groups of folders and files to be backed up. Backups can be executed manually at any time or can be scheduled periodically (daily, weekly, or monthly). Backup all your photos from all your Android mobile devices connected to your Ocloud: Access all the backed up photos from your Windows PC. Display your photos either as thumbnails or as a slideshow. Rotate and delete your pictures. A set of controls is provided to filter and perform searches on your photographs. Store all your address book contacts of all your connected mobile devices in your Ocloud: The contacts can be accessed from any of the user s connected Windows PC through the Phonebooks function. The user can view and delete any Ocloud contacts. 2

Make a backup of all your SMS messages from all of your Android mobile devices: Access all your backed up SMS messages and contacts from any of your Windows PC. Delete any backed up mobile content from any of your Windows PC. 3. Technical Requirements Fixed platform supported: Ocloud Backup provides access to the user s Ocloud from any personal computer (either desktop or laptop) running Windows. Mobile platform supported: Ocloud Backup provides access to the user s Ocloud from any Android smartphone or tablet. The operative systems supported are as follows: Platform Name Windows Android OS version supported XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 (As a desktop application) 2.3 and above The software communicates in ports 10910, 10918, 80 and 443 and the proxy can be configured to access via web and SOCKS5. 5

Installation and Configuration of the client software application Ocloud Backup The client software can be downloaded from http://ocloud.pripla.com for all supported platforms. The installation is very easy and intuitive. The user needs simply to press on the application shortcut on the desktop to launch the Wizard that will assist him during the configuration of the application on his device (fixed or mobile). As part of that process, the user will be asked to introduce the username and password -provided previously by the account administrator- to register his device. 6

4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 1. How can I back up the files and folders of my Windows PC? You need to select option PC Backup from the main menu of the application. This action will open a window that is divided into three main different areas: the first one will allow you to select the directories that are going to be backed up; the second one displays the settings to run automatically the backup and the last one will allow you to do a manual backup. 2. How can I back up the pictures taken by the integrated camera of my Android and view them from my PC? By selecting the option Upload automatically photos to my Ocloud from the Ocloud Backup settings on the Android, all pictures taken by the camera will be automatically uploaded to the Ocloud. To view the pictures from the PC, you need simply to select option My Photos from the main menu. 3. How can I back up the pictures of my albums stored on the local disk of my Android smartphone? You simply need to select option Photo Backup from the main menu of the application and press option Start Backup. 4. I bought a new mobile phone, how can I restore my address book contacts? You should install and configure the Ocloud Backup application on your new phone (registering it with your existing account). After that, you need simply to select option Address Book Backup from the main menu, select the desired backup and press Restore Address Book Backup button. 5. How can I back up my SMS messages? To back up your SMS messages, you need to select option SMS Backup from the main menu and press button Start New Backup. 7

6. How can I access my files and folders in my Ocloud? You can access the content stored in your Ocloud from your PC or Android device by selecting option My files in the main menu of the application. 7. How can I upload a new file to my Ocloud? From your Windows PC, it is as simple as dragging the file from your desktop and dropping it over the application widget. The file will be automatically uploaded to the corresponding folder of the Ocloud according to the file content (pictures will go to My Pictures folder, videos to My Videos, etc.). From an Android device you just need to go to My Files then to Local Files tap on the selected file and select option Upload to Ocloud. 8. How can I check the progress of a transfer? From the PC, you just need to right click on the application widget on the desktop or on the icon in the Taskbar menu and select option Transfers. From the Android device, you just need to go to My Files then tap on option Transfers. 9. How can I change the Ocloud Backup application settings? From a Windows PC, you need simply to right click on application widget on the desktop or icon on the System Tray and select option System Information. From an Android smartphone, you just need to tap on option System on the main menu of the application. 10. How can I quit the application? From a Windows PC, you just need to right click on the application icon in the System Tray and select option Quit from the contextual menu. From an Android device, you need to press Menu key on the phone while being in the main menu of the application and select option Close. 8
