Course duration Because the study is self-paced, how quickly you complete your studies is up to you. The beauty of completing your assessment tasks through Cloud College, our online learning and assessment portal, is the level of flexibility you have - you decide when and where you study. We do say that you have a maximum duration of twelve (12) months from enrolment in which to complete your studies; however, the majority of our students complete and receive their qualification well before this time. If you find that you need more than the 12 months to complete, extension packs are available in three month ($175) or six month ($250) increments. For the Diploma of Business, we recommend allowing around 19 hours per week for full-time study, and 9.5 hours per week for part-time study. Please note that these hours do not include any compulsory work placement/work experience that may apply. www.cloudcollege.com.au

Competency-Based Training and Assessment Our accredited courses are aligned with nationally recognised training packages which have been developed by industry specialists. Assessment is competency-based. Competence is about demonstrating that you have developed skills and knowledge to a specified industry standard. You will be required to demonstrate your ability to carry out certain tasks and apply the knowledge you have gained through study, using a variety of methods including (but not limited to): verbal questioning role plays written answers demonstrations case studies project work independent research This will provide evidence of your competence. Once you have submitted your completed assessment tasks for a unit of competency, your assessor will decide, based on the evidence you have provided, whether you have satisfied all the relevant performance criteria for that unit of competency. If you have, you will be marked Competent. If, however, the assessor feels that you have not satisfied the requirements of the unit, you will be marked as Not Yet Competent and asked to provide additional evidence for consideration. Our trainers will give you reasonable notice for submission of your assessment tasks and will indicate what form your assessment will take. You will receive feedback about your assessment and you will be given further opportunities to complete the assessment should you be unsuccessful on your first attempt. All assessment results are confidential, however, you should be aware that more than one assessor may be involved in the marking of your assessment. 1800 70 90 35
