From our SHS Faculty: I love teaching at Sullivan High School because the school spirit is amazing and everyone cares about each other. of the students. I really feel what I do is important to the well- being of students and that I make a difference. Also, young people are so fun and they keep me young! I love that feeling when a student gets excited about reading a great book and wants to talk about it, and seeing their faces light up when new books arrive! we are all on the same p age and we all help each other through the rough times. we truly care about the kids and each other. of the camaraderie between the students, faculty, and staff! of the students... we have the best students! we are a small community and we have the opportunity to know our students lives, where they have been, and be a positive influence to help them get to where they should be going! I love all the great activities we do in Spanish! of the special bonds you make with the students. we don t really h ave problems when you look at the problems of other schools. of the professional and personal support that I feel from others faculty, staff, and students. as a counselor...when a student gets accepted to college or gets that scholarship application done, the looks of excitement on their face is p riceless! The thank you makes it all worth while, plus the staff ROCKS! everyone genuinely works together to help our students succeed and our school p rosper. 4
