I jined the cmpany as an apprentice during my Masters degree. I didn t cme frm the hspitality industry, but Asctt Human Resurces saw my atypical prfile and recgnized my past skills and experience culd be beneficial t the cmpany. They gave me the pprtunity t wrk fr a year in ne f their residences in Paris, reprting directly t the General Manager. In this rle, I had the pprtunity t wrk n several prjects and als enjyed crss training in different areas f Operatins. This allwed me t develp a better understanding f the sectr and I was keen t cntinue my learning and develpment within the cmpany. I thus applied t the AMAP Prgram.

Persnal experiences This prgram is driven by the need fr yung talents, fr them t gain wrk experience n peratinal rles. A prgram designed t equip participants with the skills and experience t be future managers and leaders within the cmpany. Furthermre, in cntrast t internships r ther trainings existing, the AMAP member wrks with the same level f respnsibilities and autnmy as an experienced manager. In my pinin, this is the majr value f the prgram, because we are actually able t experiment with the psitins we ccupy in real cnditins. The strengths f the prgram als reside in the diversity f the psitins ne s can have ver the 18 mnths perid and in its internatinal dimensin. Fr my part, I started at the Eurpean Head Office, wrking in envirnmental prject management, I then spent 6 mnths reprting t the management in a 4-star residence in Lndn, befre mving int my current rle at Citadines Ramblas Barcelna as Assistant Residence Manager. A big part f my rle here, is t assist with the nging renvatin wrks. My last missin will take me t Germany, t experience the prepening prcess fr a new prperty. I experienced different cultures, different management styles and I felt challenged since I started the Asctt experience. This will definitely have a psitive impact n the rest f my career.

In fact, t have different functins in different prperties in different cities is really an advantage which permit t be mre pen minded and t be aware f what a management psitin is. I had the chance during my AMAP prgram t wrk in Spain, in UK, and in Paris, it was a fantastic pprtunity fr me t imprve my languages skills and t discver different wrking culture. This prgram is als a real challenging ne, as yu have t adapt and learn quickly. Yu just have 6 mnths t prf that yu are a gd manager, quite stressful but s rewarding. I can say that I gave a lt during my AMAP prgram but als received s much meeting a lt f peple, and ging truth s many different functin and respnsibilities. If I have ne advise t future candidate: GO. AMAP prgram is a really great pprtunity if yu want t have respnsibilities and if yu want t grw quickly.

In my pinin, the main strength f the AMAP prgram cmes frm the fact that it gives us a strng understanding f the relatinship between headquarters and peratins. Anther main strength is the fact that we have the chance t benefit frm the valuable experience f experimented directrs nce in peratin. I believe this prgram is grwing us very quickly int efficient (at least I hpe) manager. Anther aspect that needs t be highlighted is the multiple trainings prvided within the prgram which in my pinin really add a strng value t the experience. T whm wuld yu suggest this prgram t? Ambitius yung graduates eager t gain fast experience in running a prperty.
