GREG MARCHI Gregory ("Greg") Marchi is Co-Founder of SUSTAINING EXCELLENCE. Greg has a B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting from Illinois State University, a M.B.A. in Marketing from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an A.M.P. Certificate in Global Leadership from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the Innovation Institute at the McColl Center for Visual Arts in Charlotte, NC. As Chief Representative of Americas, Greg is responsible for leading the efforts to grow the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) business in North and South America. Since its founding 11 years ago, CKGSB's has been committed to firstclass executive education that looks into how China is shaping the future of business and how business and government leaders from around the globe can best engage with the world s most dynamic economy. Greg leads a team in the US designing, developing and delivering open enrollment and custom executive development programs for senior executives. Before joining CKGSB, Greg spent the previous 10 years in various senior leadership roles at Duke Corporate Education ("Duke CE"). Duke CE provides customized executive education design, development and delivery services for global clients all over the world and has been ranked number 1 in the world for 13 consecutive years by Financial Times & BusinessWeek. Greg joined Duke CE in its third year, with one office and 35 employees. Greg contributed to growing the company to $63M in revenue with 6 global offices and 135 employees worldwide. Before joining Duke CE full time, Greg was part of the Duke CE faculty network, helping with course design and teaching. He has worked as a consultant with the Public Policy Institute at Georgetown University; as the President and Founding Partner of Captus Communications, and as the Vice President of Marketing for mindshift Technologies. BARBARA YOUNG PADEN, DPM Barbara Young Paden, DPM, attended UCLA from 1980 to 1984, graduating with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology. She was a member of the 1982 and 1984 NCAA National Championship softball teams. In 1987, Dr. Paden completed an M.S. degree in Kinesiology at UCLA, with an emphasis on Biomechanics. In 1991, she completed a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Paden successfully completed her surgical residency training at Kaiser Walnut Creek, CA in 1994. Dr. Paden is currently the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle Center ("RMF&A Center"), headquartered in Wheat Ridge, CO. She has previously served as a private practice podiatrist and Vice President of the RMF&A Center. Dr. Paden is the past Chief of Podiatric Surgical Services at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, and attending staff at Highlands Presbyterian/St. Luke's Podiatric Residency Program. Dr. Paden is active in her community, serving as a youth basketball and baseball coach in Golden, CO, as well as a mentor for international Russian Adoption Moms. FELICIA CRUZ DELGADO, ED.D. Dr. Felicia Cruz Delgado attended UCLA from 1991 to 1996, graduating with a B.A. degree in Sociology. She was a member of the 1992 and 1995 NCAA National Championship softball teams. In 1997, Dr. Cruz Delgado was hired by the Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD) to teach at the elementary school level. She has enjoyed a long and productive career at the CNUSD, as a teacher (7 years) and an administrator (11 years). Dr. Cruz Delgado received a M.A. (2000) and an Ed.D. (2004) in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California. These accomplishments have equipped her with the knowledge and skills to lead four schools, as both Assistant Principal and Principal in a district with just over 55,000 students and 50 K-12 Schools. As Principal at Cesar Chavez Elementary School, Dr. Cruz Delgado's school received recognition as a California Distinguished School (2009). She is currently an Administrator in the Instructional Support Division in CNUSD, as well as the School Attendance Review Board (SARB) Officer for the District. Through Dr. Cruz Delgado's efforts, the CNUSD was recognized as one of four State Model SARB Districts (2014). As a UCLA Student-Athlete, Dr. Cruz Delgado learned a lot about grit, tenacity, humility, mental toughness, and team work. She notes that "these lessons of physical and mental preparation are the fiber and DNA embedded in everything I aspire to achieve." A true Bruin, Dr. Cruz Delgado says: "I believe that I have a professional and loyal obligation to represent my UCLA coaches, UCLA teammates, and the U-C-L-A name throughout my everyday career experiences and advancements. LESLEY FELDMAN, ESQ. Lesley Feldman, Esq., attended UCLA from 1995 to 1999, graduating with a B.A. degree in Political Science. During her senior year, she was a member of UCLA's 1999 NCAA National Championship softball team. In 2003, Ms. Feldman was awarded a J.D. degree from California Western School of Law, in San Diego, CA. She subsequently worked at three major Southern California law firms, with an emphasis on employment law. In March 2010, Ms. Feldman established Feldman Moore, Attorneys at Law, where she is the Managing Partner. Specializing in employment law defense, she represents major corporations in the defense of employment related issues. Some of Ms. Feldman's clients include The Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Motel 6 and California Pizza Kitchen. Ms. Feldman notes that the most important lesson she learned at UCLA came from playing softball. "You may not realize it now but everything your coaches tell you about the game applies to your career also. Coach Wooden said it best when he said Sports do not build character... they reveal it! Ms. Feldman has been an active part of Big Brothers Big Sisters and has completed 2 marathons for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. JULIE ADAMS Julie Adams attended UCLA from 1996 to 2000, graduating with a B.A. degree in History. She was a member of the 1999 NCAA National Championship softball team, and was named the Most Valuable Player of the 1999 College World Series. A two-time All-American, Ms. Adams was also the 1996 Pacific 10 Newcomer of the Year, and a four time All-Conference player. Ms. Adams earned a California Teaching Credential (2005) and a California Administrative Credential (2013) from National University. She earned a M.A. in Athletic Administration from Concordia University in 2011. Ms. Adams is currently an Assistant Principal at Bellflower High School. She is responsible for teacher evaluations, all aspects of athletics and other activities, the organization of all state testing for grades 7 through 12, and the provision of instructional leadership. Ms. Adams is also a Board member of the Bellflower Leadership and Support Team ("BLAST"). Prior to her promotion to Assistant Principal, Ms. Adams was a History teacher for 11 years, and served as the Athletic Director (Male/Female) for 9 years. She also served as the Head Softball Coach, and continues her involvement with the sport as a private softball instructor. Ms Adams is active in her community, serving as a volunteer for Special Olympics, as well as an annual participant in activities for the Alzheimer Association. She is a motivational speaker at both the Women in Sports Foundation and the John Wooden Leadership Academy, often emphasizing to audiences that there are "only two things in life you have complete control over your effort and attitude."
