About this Course: This qualification has been designed for workers who complete a wide range of administrative tasks, under direct or indirect supervision. These functions can be carried out in a range of settings, including hospitals, community health centres, private practice, etc. Entry Requirement: There are no stated entry requirements for this qualification, nor are there any prerequisite competencies for units within this qualification. Course Structure Attainment of this qualification requires the successful completion of 15 units of competency: 5 core units 10 elective units In addition, at the commencement of the course, students are required to complete a sustainability module. This module covers the sustainability requirements which are present in many of the units making up this program. An overview of each unit can be found on the following pages. If there is a specific training need you would like addressed which is not covered, please speak with the Training & Development Coordinator. Duration This course has a nominal duration of 9 months. The program is however workplace based, so depending on your existing skills and experience and current work role, it may be shorter, or longer. Dates for each unit will be set with your trainer and in conjunction with your workplace supervisor upon enrolment Delivery and Assessment Delivery and assessment will occur in the workplace to ensure application of the skills and knowledge you learn.
