It has an interior area of 53,202 m². It is situated in the center of the capital, on Sejongno, a main road that cuts through the ancient capital city of the Joseon Dynasty. The center took 4 years to complete, opening its doors in 1978. It was "built as a cultural center for Seoulites". It currently is home to the biggest pipe organ in Asia.
Theatre Heerlen, Heerlen, The Netherlands (2007) The Municipal Theatre Heerlen, The Netherlands: 1.060 seats, orchestra shell on stage for concerts (2007) is mentioned as an example of a successful SIAP system. Famous orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra perform there with great acoustic (and therefore public) success. This system incorporates the present state-of-the-art SIAP MK IV processor. C Above a photograph of automatically adjustable acoustic panels in the sidewalls of the theatre hall. These panels project direct - especially early side reflections - subtly into the auditorium. SIAP loudspeakers are built in. These panels are adding more spaciousness into the soundfield. Stadttheater Gera, Gera, Germany (2007) Stadttheater Gera was designed in 1902 and unites a theater hall (552 seats) and a concert hall (812 seats) which was renovated in 1993. The concert hall with is grand "Sauer-Organ" belongs undoubtedly to one of the most beautiful concert halls from Thüringen. It was a great challenge to implement a SIAP system and maintaining the authentic interior.
