Using Mobile Phones as Instruments for Digital Identity Who is it aimed at? Citizens of india This service is for people living in India aged 14 and over (minors with authorization from their parents or legal guardians) who have a smartphone (iphone or Android) with a data connection, and who identify themselves and/or accredit their identity in the manner indicated in the application. Public bodies and companies Indian government should encourage the use of mobile digital ID through municipal promotions and public-private collaboration with other public authorities and private businesses, digital-identity consumers. STEP 1 : First of all we need a mobile app for registering the digital identity and all oficial government departments websites should be integret with this app.
Application for mobileid Every citizens want to register in this app.
Steps to follow 1. Download the application 2. Enter the registration details: o Mobile number o 5-digit code sent by text message (used to verify the mobile number) o Name and surnames o ID document: Aadhar Card or passport o Email o Date of Birth o Alias (optional) 3. You accept the technical and legal terms and conditions. 4. Wait while your ID is created in the Register of Mobile Digital Identities. 5. Choose your personal PIN, which will protect access to your personal data.
Step 2 : To get accreditation You can get accreditation whether or not you are registered. And you can do that in person or online. In person You can go to an Indian Digital Identity Office and you need to show your ID document (and a photocopy) and provide your personal data for creating your ID. You will then be given a document showing: 1. Your ID details. 2. The QR access codes to the application in the Apple Store and Google Play because, to use your ID, you need to install the application on your phone. It will also have the mobile ID website address. 3. The digital identity activation code consisting of 5 blocs of 4 figures. This code is required for: Confirming accreditation of the application. Unblocking the ID if it has been blocked, accidentally or deliberately. Recovering the ID if you change your mobile and/or SIM card. On line If we have the digital certificate we can confirm our identity through the virtual office website of digital india You will have to log in with the digital certificate issued by the Virtual Office to users, provide your personal data and sign the request with the certificate which you have log in. At the end of the accreditation process you will see a screen where: 1. You will be able to download the document containing your ID details, signed electronically with the certificate you have presented. 2. Your will see the digital identity activation code consisting of 5 blocks of 4
figures. This code is required for: Confirming accreditation of the application. Unblocking the ID if it has been blocked, accidentally or deliberately. Recovering the ID if you change your mobile and/or SIM card. Step 3: Citizen services throw this app. Mobile channel Check your Indian residents register and electoral census details. Download Birth,Marriage, Death Certificates from Civil Registration India website. Get a Indian Residence Certificate. Access your Citizen's Folder identifying yourself with your mobile This folder will show the details of your relationship with the Indian Governmentl. This includes your tax and residence details, property, vehicles and any fines, to facilitate your dealings with Indian Government. The Folder allows to entry identifying with mobileid accredited level.
