Downloading Youtube and Drive Data In this section we will accomplish two parts with one quick action 1. While signed in to your Unity Gmail account visit google.csv.com/takeout

2. Click the Choose services tab to the right of the Takeout heading 3. Now, select the Drive and Youtube buttons under the Select a service: section, then click the Create Archive button at the bottom

4. It will now take you to a progress page, where it shows it packaging up your files for download. The time it takes to package up everything will depend on how many files you have in Drive, and how many videos you have uploaded to Youtube 5. Once it is done it will say complete in green at the top of the archive section. Click Download 6. After clicking Download it will ask you to sign in again to verify your identity before you start downloading all of your files

7. After signing in, your download should start. It will download a file titled [youremail]-takeout.zip. If you are using Safari, it will likely automatically open and expand the.zip file to a folder titled [youremail]-takeout. If you are not using Safari, simply double click the.zip file in your Downloads to expand it to a folder.

8. Inside this folder you will see two folders; Youtube and Drive. Inside the Drive folder you should see your files and folders you had set up in your school email account. In the Youtube folder you should see all of your Youtube video files Congratulations! You have downloaded your files to your computer. If you wish to reupload these to your personal Gmail account, proceed with the next sections!

Uploading Your Youtube Videos to Your Personal Account 1. While signed in to your Personal Gmail account: visit youtube.com 2. Click the Upload button at the top of the page 3. It will now ask you to create a Youtube Channel (unless you are using an existing personal account and have already created one). Simply fill out the information and click Continue to upload 4. You will be taken to the upload page where we can upload the files

5. Now, open the Youtube folder from the [youremail]-takeout folder in Finder. Select all of the video files, and drag them into the upload box on the web page 6. The upload will start, and it could take some time to complete depending on your internet connection speed and how many videos you have to upload Congratulations! Your Youtube videos are now on your personal account! Continue with the following sections to complete your transfer of accounts

Uploading Drive Data to Personal Account For this part you will need to use Chrome. Drive is only capable of uploading multiple files/folders from the Chrome web browser 1. While signed in to your personal Gmail account: visit drive.google.com 2. Click on the up pointing arrow on the lefthand side of the page, then choose Folder...

3. At the resulting pop-up, navigate to your Downloads folder, then to the [youremail]- takeout folder, then double click on the Drive folder inside. 4. The entire Drive folder will begin to upload. The amount of time the upload will take depends on the speed of your internet connection and how many files you have from your school Drive account.

5. You can reorganize your files as you please after the upload completes. You could simply rename the uploaded Drive folder to High School Archive if you wish to contain your High School work separate from your personal files. Congratulations!
