The Sport Administration program began in 2008 and currently offers a BS degree in Sport Administration with 250 students enrolled. The program has a close working relationship with the local community and the Athletic Department, a member of the Big East Conference. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Sport Administration or a sport management-related field (or anticipated completion by September, 2011). Applicants must demonstrate the potential to maintain an active program of scholarly research related to sport administration. The successful applicant will be expected to further the Program and University's excellence in research (including external funding, publishing, presenting) and teaching (including the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate sport administration courses as well as possible future graduate courses).
