Robot-sumo or pepesumo, is a sport in which two robots attempt to push each other out of a circle. The robots used in this competition are called sumobots. The most common "weapon" used in a sumobot competition is an angled blade at the front of the robot, usually tilted at about a 45-degree angle towards the back of the robot. This blade has an adjustable height for different tactics. 4

Microcontroller(PIC16877) Most important difference between PIC 16F877 and PIC 16F628A is ; Schmitt Trigger is included by the PIC16F877. We do not need another analog to digital converter. Principle of Schmitt-Trigger 7

Current capacity of the PICF16877 is just only 25mA Through the motor controller (L298) has the biggest Imax value between the type of motor controllers. That Imax value is 4 Ampere. It is enough to drive a DC motor 12

SENSORS(CNY70) CNY70 helps robot not to go out off arena. Fighting arena consist of two types of color; the edge color is white which surrounds the arena as 5 cm width. Inner place of the white circle is black for the maximum contrast. 15

We will; modify the servos for 360 degree move use servo motors for sumo robot examine the mechanical devices( gears, wheels, also structural frame) improve software for the better recognizing objects and smarter movements have better argonomy use PIC16F877 for further patches, sensors improvements etc. 19
