1 Introduction Mrs. Ghulam Fatima has done her M.Ed. in Special Education, Masters in English Literature and she is doing her M. Phil leading to Ph.D. in Education from Institute of Education & Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She has been serving in the field of Special Education for the last twenty one years. She started her professional career as a teacher of children with hearing impairment at Allama Iqbal School for Special Education Sialkot Cantt. She served that school as a teacher, vice principal, then principal for fourteen years. Then she was selected as Senior Special Education Teacher and served Government Deaf & Defective Hearing School Gujranwala Pakistan for one year and left that school after being selected as lecturer in University of the Punjab, Lahore where she is working till date. She has attended a number of courses/ workshops on Pakistan Sign Language, Audiology & Audiometry, Speech Language Pathology, Curriculum Development, Teaching Methods etc. She is teaching to Master classes and supervising research theses at Master level. Her aim of life is to uplift the status of persons with disabilities by including them in general community. Her focus of interest is to conduct research on different areas of Inclusive Education.
