4 Athletes Village/Village des athlètes Parents will have access to the Athletes Village, but not hotels, cafeteria, polyclinic Outdoor Festival Plaza (near Civic Centre) will be open to the public and have daily events Access to athletes will be coach-driven per team based on the competition schedule. Accommodation/Hébergement Athletes staying at Ramada Hotel Prince George, 444 George Street, Prince George, BC V2L 1R6 Hotel rooms will be fitted with bunk beds. Potentially 4 athletes per room. Intend to have sleeping bags for each athlete, which they will bring home as a gift. Intend to separate genders by floors Paid security 24/7 at hotel. 4

Luggage/Bagages One carry-on bag (max 20 lbs) will be provided by Team NB One checked bag (max 50 lbs) *Sport Equipment - Review list of equipment per sport allowed Equipment going directly to venue or storage Luggage tags will be provided *Due to limited space on the charters, CAN NOT exceed the maximum weight and number of personal luggage and sport equipment items!!! 8

9 Permission to Leave Forms Post-Games All Participants that won t be returning to Moncton from Prince George on the Team NB Charter flight will need to submit a Permission to Leave Form before January 12 th, These Participants will be responsible for finding their own transportation back to NB. Medical All participants should bring: VALID Provincial health care card (MEDICARE) Very important for all participants to complete the Personal Medical Information Section on the GEMS.pro online registration site. Participants that are covered by a Family Health and Travel Insurance Plan should include policy number in GEMS.pro and bring their card. 9

12 Tickets/Billets Available on 2015 Canada Winter Games website Pre-sale orders: Packages have already been mailed out to buyers Individual tickets will be mailed out in New Year Team NB does not have any tickets Still unclear if/when Closing Ceremony tickets will be available 12

13 Athlete Requirements* 1- Online Registration on GEMS.pro including biography and medical sections. 2-Medical Waiver Form (2015 Host Society) 3-General Consent Form (Canada Games Council) 4-Participant Agreement (Team NB) *All participants under the age of 19 must have all Forms signed by a parent Code of Conduct/Code de conduite Members of Team NB are expected to conduct themselves at all times in the spirit of fair play and in a responsible manner. Over 70% of athletes for Team NB will be minors It is the responsibility of Team Staff (Coach/Manager) to supervise athletes and adhere to the Code of Conduct ALL participants must sign the Participant Agreement which refers to the Team NB Code of Conduct and disciplinary measures. 13

16 Uniforms/Uniformes The Department of Healthy and Inclusive Communities provides the official ceremonial Team NB kit for all athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff. Team members CANNOT wear Team NB clothing before departure travel date, unless special permission is obtained for media/interview purposes. Alterations are permitted to adjust sizing Questions? 16
