1 EXECUTIVE TEAM The CAB Executive Team consists of the CAB Chair and the four Vice Chairs. The main responsibility of the Executive Team is to oversee the general operations of the organization and to manage long-term plans and goals. The Vice Chairs are responsible for supervising the coordinator positions. The Executive Team positions require an enthusiasm about cultivating leadership development opportunities for peers, strong organization and communication skills, and a willingness to engage in peer accountability. The Executive Team positions are not event planning positions, but will oversee the coordinators that will actually plan events. CAMPUS ACTIVITES BOARD CHAIR The Campus Activities Board Chair oversees all Campus Activities Board Vice Chairs and Coordinators as well as their programming and budgets. The Chair is responsible and accountable for providing leadership in the development of a well-balanced and successful calendar of cultural, educational, recreational and social programs suited to the needs and interests of the entire Endicott student body. The CAB Chair ensures that all programs are delivered at an affordable cost to the students and produced in an effective and professional manner. - Seek to advance the programming objectives of the Activities Board o Seek ways to reduce over-programming at Endicott College o Produce a master Calendar for the Activities Board and student body to view o Set semester/yearly goals for the Activities Board - Represent the student body to the faculty/administration in programming matters

2 o Actively seek and secure the opinions and concerns of the undergraduate student body regarding programming on campus and off campus - Directly supervises: o Vice Chair of Entertainment o Vice Chair of Main Events o Vice Chair of Special Events o Vice Chair of Communications - Supervision responsibilities include o Meet with supervisees providing feedback, support, and updates o Train and evaluate supervisees o Be fully knowledgeable on the job descriptions and expectations of supervisees - Meet weekly with the Executive Team to share event progress and updates - Oversee revisions and changes to the CAB Constitution and Operations Manual - Oversee the planning and execution of Welcome Week - Establish the CAB budget each year in conjunction with advisor and allocating the budget into individual coordinators budgets with the help of the Executive Team - Coordinate to plan and lead the spring and winter Activities Board retreats - Meet weekly with advisor - Recruit, interview, and appoint Campus Activities Board directors and chairs in conjunction with the Activities Board advisor, the previous Activities Board Chair, and the Executive Team - Create transition materials and train incoming officer VICE CHAIR OF COMMUNICATIONS Reporting to the Campus Activities Board Chair, the Vice Chair of Communications is responsible for the supervision of three student coordinators. The position is part of the Campus Activities Board Executive Team responsible for overall programming on campus. The Vice Chair of Communications is the main liaison to media outlets on campus, including the Observer, the Radio, ECTV, and EC Radio. - Facilitate discussion and brainstorming sessions with members of the Communications Team about marketing campaigns - Directly supervise: o Marketing Coordinator o Social Media Coordinator o Recruitment Coordinator - Supervision responsibilities include o Meet with supervisees providing feedback, support, and updates o Train and evaluate supervisees o Be fully knowledgeable on the job descriptions and expectations of supervisees - Work with outside vendors to order supplies for give-a-ways and marketing tools - Enhance the marketability of CAB through cooperation with student media: o Coordinate campus news coverage with ECTV o Work with The Observer to ensure CAB activities are adequately covered - Maintain minutes and records for Executive Team meetings and distribute accordingly - Assist with establishing the CAB budget each year in conjunction with CAB Chair and advisor and help allocate the budget into individual coordinators budgets - Actively participate in the planning of the CAB retreats - Attend both spring and winter CAB retreats - Meet weekly with advisor

3 - Attend weekly Executive Team meetings - Recruit, interview, and appoint Campus Activities Board directors and chairs in conjunction with the Program Board advisor, the previous Activities Board Chair, and the Executive Team - Create transition materials and train incoming officer VICE CHAIR OF ENTERTAINMENT Reporting to the Campus Activities Board Chair, the Vice Chair of Entertainment is responsible for the supervision of two student coordinators and the Street Team. The position is part of the Campus Activities Board Executive Team responsible for overall programming on campus. The Vice Chair of Entertainment is the main liaison to the Performing and Fine Arts Department. - Directly supervises: o Music and Arts Coordinator o After Dark Coordinator o Street Team - Supervision responsibilities include: o Meet with supervisees providing feedback, support, and updates o Train and evaluate supervisees o Be fully knowledgeable on the job descriptions and expectations of supervisees - Coordinate event volunteer sign-ups for Street Team - Responsible for providing off-campus ticket opportunities in the local area, including athletic events, local attractions, speakers, and performances - Assist with establishing the CAB budget each year in conjunction with CAB Chair and advisor and help allocate the budget into individual coordinators budgets - Actively participate in the planning of the CAB retreats - Attend both spring and winter CAB retreats - Meet weekly with advisor - Attend weekly Executive Team meetings - Recruit, interview, and appoint Campus Activities Board directors and chairs in conjunction with the Program Board advisor, the previous Activities Board Chair, and the Executive Team - Create transition materials and train incoming officer VICE CHAIR OF MAIN EVENTS Reporting to the Campus Activities Board Chair, the Vice Chair of Main Events is responsible for the supervision of three student coordinators. The Vice Chair of Main Events is the main liaison to the Residence Hall Association and Athletics. - Directly supervises: o EC Spirit and Traditions Coordinator o Novelty Coordinator o Spotlight Coordinator - Supervision responsibilities include o Meet with supervisees providing feedback, support, and updates o Train and evaluate supervisees o Be fully knowledgeable on the job descriptions and expectations of supervisees - Assist with establishing the CAB budget each year in conjunction with CAB Chair and advisor and help allocate the budget into individual coordinators budgets

4 - Actively participate in the planning of the CAB retreats - Attend both spring and winter CAB retreats - Meet weekly with advisor - Attend weekly Executive Team meetings - Recruit, interview, and appoint Campus Activities Board directors and chairs in conjunction with the Program Board advisor, the previous Activities Board Chair, and the Executive Team - Create transition materials and train incoming officer VICE CHAIR OF SPECIAL EVENTS Reporting to the Campus Activities Board Chair, the Vice Chair of Special Events is responsible for the supervision of two student coordinators. The position is part of the Campus Activities Board Executive Team responsible for overall programming on campus. The Vice Chair of Special Events is the main liaison to the various academic departments (Career Center, International Office, Disability Services, etc.). - Directly supervises: o Multicultural Programs Coordinator o Educational Programs Coordinator - Supervision responsibilities include o Meet with supervisees providing feedback, support, and updates o Train and evaluate supervisees o Be fully knowledgeable on the job descriptions and expectations of supervisees - Assist with establishing the CAB budget each year in conjunction with CAB Chair and advisor and help allocate the budget into individual coordinators budgets - Actively participate in the planning of the CAB retreats - Attend both spring and winter CAB retreats - Meet weekly with advisor - Attend weekly Executive Team meetings - Recruit, interview, and appoint Campus Activities Board directors and chairs in conjunction with the Program Board advisor, the previous Activities Board Chair, and the Executive Team - Create transition materials and train incoming officer COORDINATOR POSITIONS Coordinators are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization and all aspects of event planning. With support from the Executive Team and advisors, Coordinators will plan and facilitate various programs in relation to their position. This could include idea conception, deciding event details, and communication with vendors. MARKETING COORDINATOR The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Vice Chair of Communications. Responsibilities include creative promotion and graphic design knowledge, keeping a calendar of marketing events, and maintaining a marketing checklist for each program. The coordinator will utilize all marketing arenas provided by the University.

5 - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Communications - Maintain weekly marketing campaigns - Efficiently publicize all of the events sponsored by the Campus Activities Board - Communicate with CAB members with regard to marketing and publicity needs for their events - Manage promotional and media materials including giveaways, posters, and bulletin boards - Provide a marketing proposal procedure for CAB - Work closely with the Vice Chair of Entertainment to utilize CAB Street Team as a major arena for marketing - Coordinate and conduct marketing research efforts including: data analysis, survey design, and focus group facilitation - Represent the CAB at campus events including but not limited to Orientation, Welcome Back Week, and Homecoming SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and updating of all social media outlets. The position will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator in creating comprehensive marketing strategies and objectives for every CAB event. - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Communications - Update CAB Facebook and Twitter accounts on a regular basis with relevant information about upcoming events - Update CAB Instagram with photos and/or videos from events - Assist the Marketing Coordinator with marketing campaigns and publicity efforts

6 - Plan and execute a Social Media Marketing Event at least once per semester to increase usage of CAB social media accounts by the Endicott student body - Maintain and improve the Campus Activities Board website - Plan and execute Gull Hunt each semester - Support other University departments and areas by sharing and interacting with their social media outlets RECRUITMENT AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR The Recruitment and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and outreach of members. The position will oversee the application process and is responsible for educating the campus community about the leadership opportunities within CAB. The position is also responsible for the record-keeping regarding job description revisions, the event calendar, inventory, and photographs from events. - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Communications - Organize, plan and execute the application and interview process for Executive Team and Coordinator positions - Coordinate with the Marketing and Social Media Coordinators to promote the application process - Oversee revisions of position descriptions - Host recruitment tables and informational events about CAB throughout the year at various events, including the Clubs and Organizations Fair - Assist the Vice Chair of Entertainment with the recruitment of Street Team members - Maintain an event calendar, inventory and personnel database - Create a digital storage folder and ensure the addition of photographs from every CAB event throughout the year MUSIC AND ARTS COORDINATOR The Music and Arts Coordinator is responsible for major music events at Endicott College, which includes contacting agents and inviting a diverse array of bands/artists/musicians to perform at Endicott. The Music and Arts Coordinator will plan and manage the Spring Week Concert, Open Mic events, and miscellaneous music events.

7 - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Entertainment - Responsible for enhancing the campus community with events and programs that support music and the arts - Work with advisor to contract film rights and various agents, companies, vendors - Work cooperatively with the Marketing Coordinator to publicize events - Work cooperatively and collaboratively with the Performing Arts Department - Responsible for programming each semester, but not limited to: o Plan and execute the Spring Concert/Dance at the end of Spring Week o Plan and execute two Open Mic Night events o Plan and execute one daytime concert/musical event o Program increasing awareness for the arts AFTER DARK COORDINATOR The After Dark Coordinator focuses on changing the campus social culture through creating and supporting non-alcoholic-centered activities. The After Dark Coordinator is responsible for providing activities beyond the typical hour with the mission of providing alcohol-free social events and activities that will serve as alternatives to the Endicott party scene and promote safe and responsible social interaction and behavior on the Endicott campus. - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Entertainment

8 - Responsible for enhancing the campus community with events and programs that enhance the after dark campus life on weekends - Participate in the program coordination and management of after hours programming in conjunction with Late Night Callahan programming, REACH, LightHouse, and Residence Life - Work with advisor to contract film rights and various agents, companies, vendors - Work cooperatively with the Marketing Coordinator to publicize after dark weekend programming to wide ranges of audiences. - Keep a record of attendance at after dark events - Responsible for programming each semester, but not limited to: o Plan and execute 2-3 on-campus weekend events o Plan and execute 2 Bingo events o Midnight premieres at local movie theatres o Plan and execute one comedy show EC SPIRIT AND TRADITIONS COORDINATOR The EC Spirit and Traditions Coordinator reports directly to the Vice Chair of Main Events and is responsible for programming successful events supporting Endicott Athletics and Alumni Relations. This coordinator is also responsible for events during Homecoming and other campus-wide traditional events suited to the needs and interests of the Endicott student body. - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Main Events - Instill a sense of Endicott spirit across campus, not only at athletic games - Acts as the main coordinator for all Homecoming activities - Coordinate additional events and opportunities that promote unity and spirit among the undergraduate student body - Recruit, chair and provide leadership for the Homecoming Student Committee - Work cooperatively with other campus departments, such as Athletics, and student organizations to coordinate spirit events - Work cooperatively with the Marketing Coordinator to publicize events - Work with advisor to make any contractual agreements with vendors - Responsible for programming, but not limited to, a series of events per semester: o Fall Homecoming Festival o Implement a Spring spirit tradition o One non-sport related spirit event

9 o Two sport related spirit events, including Basketball Blastoff NOVELTY COORDINATOR The Novelty Coordinator is responsible for different aspects of daytime entertainment for the Endicott community. The Coordinator programs events such as films, de-stresser events, and daytime programming. The Novelty Coordinator aims to provide programming that is out of the box, fresh, and accessible for all students to enjoy. - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Main Events - Showcase a wide variety of performances, events, and programs during daytime hours - Work cooperatively with the Marketing Coordinator to publicize events to the student body - Work with advisor to make any contractual agreements with vendors - Responsible for programming, but not limited to, a series of events per semester: o Two non-marketed pop-up events o One afternoon performance event o Welcome Back Give-A-Way Event o Assist with Gullabration o Finals De-Stresser Activity SPOTLIGHT COORDINATOR The Spotlight Coordinator is responsible programs themed-events, holiday events, and other entertainment events. The position plans programs that spotlight Endicott spirit and highlight traditional CAB events.

10 - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Main Events - Coordinate and plan annual themed-events - Work cooperatively with the Marketing Coordinator to publicize events to the student body - Work with advisor to make any contractual agreements with vendors - Responsible for programming, but not limited to, a series of events per semester: o Fall Festival o Gullabration o Winter Carnival o Spring Week MULTICULTURAL PROGRAMS COORDINATOR The Multicultural and Arts Coordinator is responsible for providing programs that continually celebrate and recognize the diversity of the Endicott College. This coordinator will work closely with multicultural and diversity groups as well as the International Office. - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Special Events - Work cooperatively with the Marketing Coordinator to publicize events to the student body - Work with advisor to make any contractual agreements with vendors - Work cooperatively and collaboratively with the International Office and diversity clubs and organizations - Responsible for programming, but not limited to, a series of events per semester: o Interactive diversity program/workshop for students o Swipeable event with the goal of advancing multicultural awareness among students o Celebration of heritage/diversity awareness months EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS COORDINATOR The Educational Programs Coordinator is responsible for providing co-curricular programs that enhance learning outside of the classroom.

11 - Directly report to the Vice Chair of Special Events - Collaboration with REACH and LightHouse in providing educational programs - Work cooperatively with the Marketing Coordinator to publicize events to the student body - Work with advisor to make any contractual agreements with vendors - Responsible for programming, but not limited to, a series of events per semester: o Interactive program/workshop for students regarding a campus culture issue o o One swipeable event Helping to plan events for awareness weeks/months that address a variety of topics including alcohol awareness, safe drinking practices, sexual assault prevention, cyber bullying, etc.
