MOVING SERVICES Gerson Relocation is a long established and well respected provider of both domestic and international moving services including storage in purpose built warehouses in London and Daventry. We are unique in our sector as we employ our own foremen / packers, all with CRB/DBS clearances which enable us to reach & maintain a very high and consistent level of service. Crucial to our success is the network of overseas agents we operate, 80% of whom we have worked with for over twenty years and who complement our ability to supply clients with consistently reliable quality. Gerson Relocation s close relationship with these providers enables us to also control work that never touches the UK i.e. that is handled globally on an agent to agent basis. Our move managers who each receive extensive training provide one point of coordination for our corporate as well as individual clients and oversee all the necessary administration. Several languages are spoken in our operations centre, easing international communication and helping to streamline the whole process. We also support our customers by offering insurance (as regulated by the FSA) on our moving services. 11 GERSON RELOCATION CORPORATE INFORMATION PARENT COMPANY P10 ABELS Abels Moving Services Ltd were established by Noel Abel a Norfolk auctioneer who founded his business in 1958 gaining a reputation for quality as he expanded to become one of the most progressive removal companies in the industry and renowned for many industry firsts. In January 1989 Abels were the first company to be awarded a Royal Warrant by appointment to H.M the Queen for removal and storage services an accolade they have maintained for some 20 years. Staff expertise and retention is an essential aspect of the culture, leading to the company gaining numerous training awards. This includes constructing a unique training school for packing and moving household contents. No surprise Abels were the first in the industry to gain the Investor in People standard in After seven years owned by a major plc, an MBO in 1998 allowed the company to again return to private ownership and a continuation of the quality culture initially instilled by the Abel family.
