2 Individual Learning Accounts (ILA) ILA Scotland is a Scottish Government scheme for people who have an income of 22,000 a year or less, or who are on benefits. To apply, you will need to meet their criteria, be aged 16 or over and be resident in Scotland to get up to 200 towards the cost of learning. ILA 200 Accounts These are for people who are interested in learning something new or brushing up their skills. Please ensure that you have opened your ILA account and have received your account number before booking a course. SAAS Part-Time Fee Grant This is available for people who are studying a part-time Higher Education course such as Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND), Degree or Professional Development Awards (PDA). Eligible courses are those listed in the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) as Higher Education courses at levels 7, 8, 9 and 10. Professional Graduate Diplomas and Certificates in Education (SCFE level 11) may also be funded. Students must be studying SCQF Credits in an academic year.
