3 How to enrol Look through this guide to see what courses we offer For more detailed course information call our Information Team on Tel: or visit us at the Old Mill Lane campus An appointment can be arranged with a course tutor if you need more specialist advice or information Once you have decided on a course, come along to an enrolment day (please see dates on page 2) What do you need to bring with you to enrol? Payment or letter from your sponsor/employer Proof of any benefits you claim e.g. award notice or official letter and National Insurance Number Your most recent pay slip if you earn less than 20,000 (gross) to be eligible for the 50% discount (selected courses only) Your bank details if you want to pay by instalments for fees over 150 You may be eligible for free or reduced course fees if you are: Aged 19 to 23 and looking to study on your first Level 2 or 3 course Aged 16 to 18 and taking a course that leads to a nationally recognised qualification In receipt of Jobseeker s Allowance (JSA) or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)* Unemployed, not receiving JSA or ESA, but enrolling on a course which will aid your search for employment. The lower two floors hold all the resources - i.e. books, journals, newspapers, e-book readers, laptops, computers and study spaces. We also have additional study spaces and computers on the upper two floors. Netbooks and games are available for use within College. Learning Curve Assistants are now available to help with study support on a one-to-one appointment or drop in basis. In addition to functional Maths and English, you will have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to progress on to a Level 2 course in Health and Social Care.
